None of those twitter apps work on my computer. I need a clean up...
Thanks for the addys. It's funny that the official CC twitter has hardly anything, yet they are upset at other CC twitter accounts for announcing guests.

I know, it's ridiculous. The one guy got called out because he wasn't 'official' and started losing followers...yet he's a fan and has been Tweeting the most updates so far (with the exception of the guy with the personal Twitter account). The guy never claimed to be official. He was only doing it to share information with people.

I saw earlier today that Bruce Campbell was confirmed. The guest list is shaping up quite nicely.

I love Bruce Campbell. It's getting harder and harder to think about going to CC. My car has been dying. Had one part fixed and it won't start again. GRRRR!

It's getting harder for me as well. Between being sick and then having the AC messing up...CC has pretty much been the last thing on my mind. I'm still following the news, but I'm just not that excited about it now. I guess that will change once things get straightened out in my real life.
BTW, Kiefer Sutherland is supposed to be there now too, doing a panel for 24.

There are rumors of a Johnny Depp appearance at CC.....
I think I'm really beginning to get excited about this thing. Not just for the con, but for SD too. I can't wait to see the beach again....

I wouldn't be surprised if he shows for a panel, given that Alice in Wonderland is coming up.
I'm getting excited over the little things, too. Like finding out there's free shuttle service from the airport to my hotel. No taxi fees!!!

I just heard today that Lucy Lawless is supposed to be at CC. I'm also hearing rumors of a possible Josh Holloway appearance.
Oh, and Keifer Sutherland was indeed confirmed.

Most if not all of the updates that are coming thru I'm getting thru Twitter. I'm following a few CC pages.

me, too. It's a shame that CC won't post up things when the studios are already sending out their schedules to websites, but then there is the whole 'could be canceled' deal. They did that last year, in a big way.

I've never been to a con that waited this long to post schedules. Regular con-goers know that guest appearances are subject to cancellation. It seems kind of silly to me at this point to wait, given that the passes are sold out. Even the ones they're reselling are going in like 2-3 minutes. Most people go to CC for the con itself, and not only for the guests...otherwise they wouldn't be buying the passes months in advance.

I haven't seen anything. The only news I've gotten has mainly been directly through the studios, networks, etc. Nothing much on the CC site itself (though they did just post the independent film schedule last night).

Well, danggit! Not only can I not got to CC this year, I will be out of town, barely making it in time for IB's premiere, if I'm lucky.
Jonah Hex One of DC’s odder comic book heroes, supernatural cowboy Jonah Hex definitely needs a bump from the nerdcore crowd to work its way into the mainstream. Director Jimmy Hayward is a good talker and will no doubt be their championing his brand with star Josh Brolin. Don’t hold your breath for co-star Megan Fox, but Michael Fassbender, also in Inglorious Basterds seems likely. Part of Warner Brothers’ main presentation – Hall H – Friday, July 24 – 10:15 – 12:30
If this is true, I need lots and lots of pictures! And video! Pleeeze???

Awww, that's a shame you can't make it. I was hoping you'd be able to attend for at least one day.
I just got word that Kevin Sorbo is supposed to be there on Friday and possibly Saturday, signing autographs. I want to stop by and see if he remembers me. It's been a few years. Maybe I'll wear my Hooters shirt.

I heard that too, DK, about Kevin. I thought, COOL! DK will be there.
Johnny Depp is scheduled to be there, right? Or not? I can't remember.
Anyways, if not, then it's rumored, and so is another big, big name. And if that big name is going to be there, then Fass will probably be there too. He doesn't have anything else to do at the moment. But there is the possibility that he won't be able to make it, because the IB UK premiere is also on the 23rd. It's a tight schedule.
My schedule is weird. I want to make at least one day to CC. I was asked to go with my family to Utah the week before CC. I was cool with that, but then my mother wants to stay for a while and I can't stay that long-school starts in Aug, need to continue looking for work, etc. Plus my checks aren't direct deposit, so I have to be home every two weeks. In the end, I might not go with them at all. And if my car never gets fixed, I'm not going anywhere anyways. I'm saying, no, I'm not going at the moment.
It's all up in the air. I have to figure something out. We'll see.
But that article almost hints that IB will be there.
Man, I'm good! I'm either three for three or four for four when it comes to who is coming these conventions! Lost count.
