Harry saw INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS today, but Saturday Night @ Comic Con so can you... Here's How!!!

Hey folks, Harry here - there's a lot of films screening this year at Comic Con, but here's one that has been secret till... NOW. On Saturday night at 8pm at the Reading Gaslamp Theater in downtown San Diego - a 250 seat theater will be packed with extremely lucky folks. To get the tickets - you need to officially follow TheRealBasterds so you can get the info and capitalize on it asap to grab one of those tickets to an ass-kicking awesome time. There may very well be some of the Basterds there that night. Sadly, I can't attend - as I'll be rocking out to KISS at the Hard Rock, but you folks let me know. I'll write my INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS review on the plane tomorrow. It is a really great film on multiple levels. And is shorter than the Cannes version, but I think it is probably an even better film for it.

Lionsgate is now saying they are really pushing Gamer at CC. Maybe someone will make a weekend trip? I mean, how can you say that you are pushing something really hard, and not have the lead there?

Doesn't make sense to me.

Well I do know that Neveldine and Taylor are supposed to be here now.

I met Bea and Lugerry and we went palling around...so much fun! We got dinner and then went to the convention center. I met Garrett Wang from Star Trek:Voyager (what a sweetie, he's MUCH cuter in real life), and John Barrowman IS INDEED going to be signing this weekend! I payed for mine, all I have to do is show up and he'll sign my piccie for me. I asked about David Tennant and if he might be signing. She hadn't heard anything yet, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

The place is packed, that's for sure. I'm dead tired and my feet are killing me. Just chilling in the room right now, watching Family Guy.

get used to the tiredness but have fun!

Yes, the directors have said they were going to be there for a while, so I knew that.

Argh! I'm glad that you will get a chance to meet John.

I hope the rest of the weekend goes as well, but take it all in stride, and don't expect too much. Bea's a good person to keep it level.

Sleep soon, and get up early...I'm not joking...when you see the lines this weekend, you're going to say, WTFreak...well, in another word.

There aren't really any panels tomorrow morning I'm bent on seeing. I wanted to see the Disney 3D panel, but not enough to sit through the Twilight crowd to get to it. Friday and Sunday are going to be really busy, tomorrow I think I'll just go with the flow and try to get my bearings, maybe get some autographs, etc.

The tweets and pictures are coming in from ComicCon now. The Twilight fans have been camping out since 1am for tomorrow's panel. I think it's safe to say I won't be attending the Disney panel tomorrow morning.

Ah well...no biggie to me. I'll just bum around the tables or get some breakfast. I do want to see Bruce Campbell in the afternoon, though if I miss his panel he is also going to be signing.

They're camping out in tents. TENTS, Alice!

Sad thing is, the hall is limited so many probably won't even get in.

Not yet, I was exhausted last night and made it an early night.

I might walk the Bay a bit before I head into the con this afternoon. My friends are camping out in Hall H, but there's really nothing I want to see there today.

I'm beginning to think Michael will be there...if Quentin can be there on Sat night and the UK premiere is going on probably right now, and the only people scheduled to be on the red carpet with Quentin is Michael and one of the actresses, I wouldn't be surprised if they jetset to CC.

Brad's not expected in the UK, but who knows...have to check the webcam right now.

I hope you're right! Bad thing is, I don't have tix to the Saturday night screening of IB. How do you get those? I followed them on Twitter but I haven't heard anything.

ComicCon was a blast! I'm planning on adding the pix to my personal website. As soon as I get everything together, I also plan on putting a con report here as well. There's SO much to talk about and share!

Donna,
Just wanted to thank you again for grabbing those posters for us.
Of course, I had to redo the furniture in my bedroom so I could
hang the framed poster on my wall but now I go to sleep with
GB and wake up with GB all accross my walls. There is not one
space on the wall that does not have a GB item..
I am a sick happy camper......

I am so glad you had a fun weekend, Donna.

Is there a lot of gossip? 'Cause you know I'm always up for gossip even if it's about people I don't know. Wink

I would imagine keyboards will be smoking this weekend.
