The FF deal is no more. At least not for the amount of points I have.
The flights did go down a little bit, though.

Yeah, I am going to CC too for the 4 days. I have not thought about the premiere yet. I would luv to go it just depends on when it is and how much work I would have to miss. The job keeps getting in the way of my fun but I need the job to pay for my fun LOL!!! a double edged sword. I will keep looking here to see what plans we can make.

awwww...fun, Bea.
How are you?
Ok, all of you ladies going...IF Tarantino brings his Inglourious Bastards along, which I almost think he's going to do, you gotta get me lots and lots of pics of Michael...if he goes.

Alice, does this mean there's a chance Mr. Pitt might be there?
Wouldn't that be something....Missouri boy gone big. If I ever got a chance to talk to him (which I won't), I'd love to bring up the fact that he was raised not that far from me.

IF Tarantino does a panel, I don't see why Pitt wouldn't be there.
I'd love to see Eli, though.

DK, if you don't come by my place to pick up my video camera, you might look to the Father's Day sales in the next few weeks. I always try to buy my electronics around that time, for better deals.

I also thought...BEA! If she figures out something, I can ask her if she wants to take my video camera...huh, BEA?????
I have lots of video tape too!
If not, LJ is going, and I can give her your number later.
Just giving options.

That would be fine. I was just thinking of vlogging the con. I thought it would be fun.
I guess I should try to PM Bea over at GALS. She probably spends more time over there than she does here.

Ha ha....y'all make me laugh.
Kinda wish I could go. My boyfriend goes to the DragonCon thingy in Atlanta every September. Leonard Nimoy, Dirk Benedict, Alan Ruck and others will be there.
I'd love to go to TUT premiere. Never done a real, full-fledged big movie premiere. Was in NYC in '05 to see Tom Cruise on Letterman---but my boyfriend and I were such nimrods we didn't realize Tom's movie was premiering that same day! We could've seen Tom, Katie and Spielberg!!! Damn it man.
Now, does anyone know if and when there might be a premiere in NYC for The Ugly Truth?
Southwest starts flying to La Guardia end of June. Cheap rates going to. A bit more coming back. Never been to L.A. But that would be majorly fun!
Hhhhmmm...I need to start planning and calling up people too!

TUT premiere is in LA on July 16, I believe. I haven't heard of a NY one, at least not one with the actors/red carpet.
I'm getting really excited about CC. I just heard this afternoon that there are going to be panels for Stargate, Caprica, Warehouse 13, Sanctuary, Eureka and Battlestar Galactica. I've also heard there might be something lined up for Legend of the Seeker.

Teehee...I just heard thru the grapevine that Scott Bakula is supposed to be there. He's a St. Louis boy, just like me...except that I'm not a boy, I'm a girl.
I love being a geek.

About David Tennant? He's almost as far up there on my fangirl scale as Gerry. And I LOVE Doctor Who. I've been a fan since I was a little kid. This is David's first CC appearance, based on what I've heard. And John Barrowman, I love him on DW and Torchwood.

I haven't heard anything, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised. Nothing is confirmed, but I'm following CC on Twitter and the buzz is that Mr. Pitt might be there, and maybe even Angelina. Now if CC can get those two there, I don't see why they couldn't get Mr. Fassy.
I suppose all will be revealed in a few weeks.
I really wish CC could get Chris Eccleston. I'm a fan of his too, and he was also in Heroes, as well as playing the Doctor. But IMO cons just don't appear to be his cup of tea. I never really hear about him doing PR things. I think he likes to keep pretty private.

So will Tennant be representing Dr Who at CC? Or does he have something else to promote?
I have to be honest - I get a funny feeling about David Tennant - like he's a really, really, naughty little deviant. Is he??

Plus I use Tweetdeck for Twitter, and keep the search for ComicCon running. Or you can search on the web, too.
Nay, all I can say about David is that he's Scottish. I don't know a lot about him outside of his characters, but he appears to be a bit of a bad boy. But he's so darn cute....
He's representing Doctor Who, along with Russell Davies.
