And Gerard Butler was making the most of his Formentera break on Tuesday, living it up with a group of friends on board a yacht.

The 47-year-old actor, who previously made headlines for his 'fuller' figure, was looking rather muscular as he relaxed in style.

Gerard displayed his toned physique in a pair of brightly coloured swimming trunks.

The London Has Fallen actor was spotted diving off the edge of the yacht, enjoying a swim to cool off.

Gerard ditched his gruelling workout regime to film thriller Keepers, after previously bulking up for his role in 300.

The actor had to work out six-hours a day for seven months in the lead up to filming the action-packed flick.

He told GQ of his current workout regime: 'Right now I’m training five times a week.

'It’s always a little harder when you’re on the road, unless you’re there for a while.

Gerard has been keeping busy promoting his new film A Family Man, in which he stars alongside Willem Dafoe and Alison Brie.

Meanwhile, Gerard recently rekindled his romance with girlfriend Morgan Brown.
