'He can't commit': Gerard Butler 'splits from on/off girlfriend Morgan Brown AGAIN'... after 'make or break' holiday in Mexico

They've been dating on and off for three years.

And Gerard Butler, 47, has reportedly called an end to his relationship with Morgan Brown, 40, owing to his alleged commitment issues.

Following their recent holiday, a source told The Sun: 'They went away to Mexico to see if it would work out but they both saw it would be best they moved on.'

They added: 'He’s told his friends he just couldn’t commit. Gerry loves Morgan but it wasn’t working.'

The insider also cast fresh doubts on Gerard's alleged inability to commit as they revealed friends concerns that he wouldn't settle down any time soon.

Gerard and Morgan have been dating on and off since 2014 and were said to be broken up for good in 2016 before they were seen getting cosy on the beach in Tulum, Mexico in July.

During their most recent split Morgan, an interior designer and former model, was spotted out on a coffee date with actor Liev Schreiber in May.

However, she sparked reconciliation rumours when she was spotted jetting into Baltimore, Maryland with Gerard on June 15, a little over a month after her coffee date with Liev.

Previously the couple's split was blamed on attention from other women, according to Page Six.

A source told the publication: 'Girls throw themselves at him. It's hard for him to constantly say, "No. Get away from me. I have a girlfriend."'

Gerard and Morgan started dating in May 2014 following his split from Romanian model Madalina Ghenea, 27, the previous year.

CUDDLING on the beach last month, movie hunk GERARD BUTLER and girlfriend Morgan Brown looked every bit the loved-up Hollywood couple.

But six weeks is a long time in Tinseltown — and I can reveal that the romantic trip to Mexico marked the beginning of the end for their romance.

Friends say the Scottish actor, star of blockbusters including 300 and P.S. I Love You, had whisked Morgan away on the “make or break” trip after their relationship hit a rocky patch.

And after struggling to make things work, the couple have now called it a day.

A pal said: “Gerry just isn’t ready to settle down. He thought Morgan might have been the right person at the right time but it wasn’t to be.

“He’s told his friends he just couldn’t commit. Gerry loves Morgan but it wasn’t working.

“He has been away filming and he thought it would be better if they went their separate ways. They went away to Mexico to see if it would work out but they both saw it would be best they moved on.

“Some of Gerry’s friends have given up on thinking he would ever settle down. He is having too much fun.”

The actor has a reputation for being a ladies man

The couple were first linked around two and a half years ago, and were regularly pictured locking lips and embracing in public.

But earlier in 2017 they were reported to have gone their separate ways. Shortly afterwards, model-turned-interior-designer Morgan was snapped enjoying a coffee with Hollywood actor LIEV SCHREIBER, who had recently split from actress NAOMI WATTS after 11 years together.

But the reports proved to be unfounded as she was soon seen back at Gerard’s side enjoying a night out in Los Angeles.

Just a few days after his last holiday with Morgan, Gerard was spotted partying with friends at the Amante Beach Club in Ibiza.
