It's more like mowing twenty acres. It's "hay" actually. But that's what we do out here in the flatlands of Missouri. We mow hay and mash nuts. It's all we have to do.

May be of particular interest to Geranimal--"Somewhere in Time" is on cable. It's only in the first few minutes and I am already crying because I know what is going to happen. Trying to picture G in this role.

Yesterday was one of the days when I dealt with a death and I am overwhelmed physically and emotionally anyway, so hence the cryfest. Chicken is in the crockpot and pie is in the freezer and I am looking forward to doing NOTHING but chilling the rest of the day.

Oh man, that movie always makes me want to cry. It's like PS I Love You....love the movie, but can't watch it that much because it puts me in a mood.

Well, I watched it twice. It came on again in the evening and the roomie watched it for the first time. He's usually okay with chick flicks but he said he doesn't get this one. But we both agree on the music and I own the soundtrack so we can enjoy it.

Nay, there is a movie titled "Bright Star" with Abbie Cornish (isn't she an Aussie?) and Ben Whishaw. It's about Joh Keats and his romance with Fanny Brawne for the 3 years before his death (at age 25).

I enjoyed it. It's on DVD - it was released in 2009.

I didn't know she was the director and you were refering that that film! I really enjoyed it.

As for good things coming from down under....I'm not sure that I would include vegemite, or budgie smugglers. Or vegemite smeared budgie smugglers.

sitting here in work again on this lovely sunday morning with my laptop havin a Mccafe because we have no coffee machine in work, couldnt go online because I changed from windows vista to XP and my lappy goes fast as hell now.

Big thank you to Nay for posting the Keats. I hadn't read him in years. One of my degrees is in English but I rarely read anything from the classics anymore unless it is Shakespeare.

It's put me in a great mood as I prepare to make that long trip south again--Keats in my head and the "Somewhere In Time" soundtrack in my CD player.

Thanks, K, but there's no cable in the sticks. We've got the old dish on the roof.

DK, allergies are bad this year. Could be the cause. Will make you feel like hell! They'll even cause your lymph nodes to swell up and cause sinus infections.

Try some OTC antihistimine and hope you feel better!

Since I have turned my life upside down I have put my fitness regime to the side and eating whatever someone cooks for me even though I know better than to eat some of that stuff. I am headed out to run then to make a healthy breakfast. No more excuses!

I do some excercises every morning not a lot but it helps....and sweet cats watch me....healthy food is walways good I cook loads of indian food and with a cookin steamer...especially fish!!!
