My voice is practically gone. My buddies decided yesterday we should go camping so they came down and got me when I was done working. Too hot and humid for a campfire but there was a lot of singing--hence the reason my voice is gone. The whole camp smelled like honeysuckles. It was awesome.
I am bug bitten, tired and I can't speak but I didn't want to come back. I love sleeping outdoors and watching the sunrise and sunset. I want to go back next weekend!

Walked outside this morning and a little Dun mare was standing beside my driveway grazing. So I walked her over to the pasture and put her inside. Later in the day, she was gone and all of our gates are padlocked. Very interesting. Think one of neighbors may have a "jumper".

When I came home last night my roommate (the "other one" that I may have spent 30 minutes with since I have been here) had on the final episode of 'Lost.' I don't watch a lot of TV so I have not seen a single episode so the "story" as "Lost" on me. But the music they were playing in the last few minutes of that show as awesome. My roommate is a big fan and he said the series has a great soundtrack.
I must have last night's soundtrack!

Random: I'm baaack. Had a crazy couple of weeks. First my son had apendicitus and had surgery all in the matter of 14 hours. He had his staples removed on Thursday and he still has to take it easy for another 3 weeks.
And hubby and I went away for a few days up to Door County Wisconsin to celebrate our 38th anniversary.
I see I have much to catch up on.

nothin special today in work as we have a bankholiday today, was just playing with my fingers round the table....gettin my baby kitten tommorrow night so I am really lookin forward to it. I am not on 500 calorie diet but tonite there is just rice veggies and salad for dinner lol..

Trying to figure out WTF is wrong with me. Drove ALL the way back to my house early this morning--not that I thought the other roommate was destroying my house. And it was fine when I got here.
Did HIS dishes, made and froze a lasagna, put a pot roast in the crockpot and made cupcakes. This is not typical behavior for me. I hope I am not growing up.
Now I have to make that long trip back down and work tonight.

mhhh been not busy today in work we ar renovating our pub...my ears are dead from all the drilling noise....
GER got my baby kitten today...my big cat is growling at her...but everyone says thats normal for the first couple of days. Hope so..

I have two roommates---one at my house I have lived in for years and I am sharing a home with a lifelong friend (since elementary school) in the town where I work--two separate places. We'll call the one at my house R1 and the lifelong friend R2. I am having a hard time keeping up myself!
I left R1 for a week so that's why I made him all that food. But I am home from work for my dinner break and R2 has made me dinner! And he can cook unlike R1! Good to know what goes around comes around!
