I think that's a great idea, Andrea, to get a companion/friend for your cat Sox. He'll love someone to play with. Try your shelters where there is plenty of cats and kittens looking for a new home.

I dont need to go to a shelter have friends of mine with new kiddens and they need a shelter too but I dont find a propper one for my cat Sox I will certainly go there.

With all the babble I give about how much I dislike FB, well, I was 'friended' by a long lost cousin, who just happens to work in film, supposedly on some big films, and lives in Venice Beach.

We're first cousins. I seriously don't recognize him anymore. Yikes! I don't even know if we've ever met. If we did, I was too young to remember.

But a trip to L.A. would be nice, say around the middle of June.

I guess it's kind of cool, I mean, it's not like we'll probably talk to each other, because we really don't have anything to talk about, unless he's interested in how his uncle is doing.

We have different lives, interests, etc.

I'm not one of those people who goes looking for friends and family. What do you say to someone who you've never had anything in common and probably still don't?

I could go visit my other cousins and say let's do lunch or something.

I guess it means something that he wanted to friend me.

I think it's more amazing how someone can completely change their looks and lifestyle.

i don't go looking for friends and family either. most friendships go by the wayside for a reason, ya know? not a big fan of FB myself. but...it was nice to find paulo on there. he's a sweetie! anyone here fans of the band extreme? paulo is nuno's brother!

Can't sleep. My "fun night out" turned into pressure to stay or at least live here on my off days. Was going to rant but too tired. The guys have a solution but it is odd and I don't know if I should take them up on it.

I've had people on FB "friend" me that I've never heard of. I'm suspicious of things like this. Good way to lure you in to revealing your personal info. The one that I got started sending me emails requesting money to get him out of some sort of hardship. I don't know how he got my name in the first place.

You have no idea who anyone is on the internet. They can pose as anybody, friend or relative.

Nay, I thought I mentioned somewhere that I didn't make it this semester because funds didn't come in time to pay for classes, and I lost all registration. I had planned to take classes over the summer, but with cuts, they only have general education classes, which I don't need.

Gives me more time to look for a job, or two part time jobs or something, until August.

I have had an awesome three days! Karaoke Thursday, dancing last night and we grilled out tonight before the baseball game. Today my ex and I went to a discussion group on the Bill Maher documentary "Religulous." I love to watch people's reaction when they realize my ex is not just handsome but smart. I like smart men! I am going to miss the ex when I am gone through the week.

If the Braves can come back from this five run deficit, things will be just about perfect!

These are my last couple of days before my change is complete. I have erased most of my former career completely. I am glad I didn't waste anymore time cooped up in my home office doing something I really didn't like.

Cats are like kids. They can get jealous too. Make sure Sox knows he still number one and that this kitten is his. Sometimes they hit it off pretty quick and sometimes it takes a while. Just depends. If you need any pointers, just ask me, Andrea.

I actually like laundry. It's the only domestic chore I don't mind. Of course it's not like I'm taking my clothes down to the creek with a scrub board or anything or beating them on a rock.
