THERE'S A BUG IN MY BEDROOM AND IT WAS CHASING ME....and now I can't go back in there.

Seriously, it was in my jeans and when I put my jeans on, it hopped out and tried to kill me. I then sprayed it with bug spray and it started hopping after me and now it's in my room.

It was big and brown and it HOPPED. I screamed and now my cats are scared of it too and won't go kill it for me.

AM SERIOUSLY FREAKING OUT.

The bug spray got it, but I had to find out where the bug was because it was the same color as my carpet.

Sounds like either a cricket or a grasshopper.

I usually add a little soap when I drown bugs. Soap breaks up water tension and water floods into their airholes. Bugs can survive underwater otherwise (for a while) because water tension makes air bubbles around their airholes and they don't drown.

As a matter of fact, when I was a kid I wrote a comic strip similar to that. It had something to do with the Scrubbing Bubbles and the Tidy Bowl man coming to save the day.

It may have been one of those water bugs, DK. They are the size of mice and can FLY. Totally freaks me out.

They were plentiful in my building when I lived in Glendale, CA. Ironic how that building was condemmed after the '94 Northridge quake.

I saw a bit of a movie once where an OCD guy was sitting on the toilet lid to keep whatever was in there from coming out. I left before it did.
