I agree Emily. Head spinning with possibilities right now.
Rain, rain, rain today. Honestly, this summer has been quite screwy.

Hmmm...it shows up for me, but I'm not sure if anyone else sees it. I put it together myself. Does that explain things?

Hi PJ! Honey, I can't see your siggy either.
To demonstrate the heat we are barely coping with during summer, this photo was taken outside my house in Melbourne this morning.
You all believe me, right?

LOL! Thanks, PJ!
Yesterday was totally insane. The doctor that works on Mondays here had a family emergency and had to leave town, so I spent most of the day trying to get in touch with people to reschedule every appointment for this week and we had what seemed like a ton of patients that had been in the hospital, and the other doc came in to try and cover as much as she could...it was CRAZY and I was totally wiped by the end of the day.
Add to that the fact that I was emotional because I have been working out and eating healthier and denying myself the good stuff for three months now and have lost maybe two pounds....arghhhh....especially being surrounded by all these skinny things that can eat what they want whenever they want...
Anyway, I'm in a better frame of mind today! LOL Guess that should have gone in the ranting thread. LMAO
And I can see your siggy just fine, PJ!
Nay, that's hilarious!!

Misty, I understand how you feel. It is so not fair that some people can eat whatever they want and stay skinny. I am on a diet and exercise plan myself, and it is so not fair to have to miss out on all the food that other people get to eat!

Something random...I think I fixed my siggy? Thanks for telling me, Dk, Nay, Misty and Emily.
Now...about those skinny girls. I was one of them. I could eat anything and not exercise and still look "mahvelous". Then, I turned 50, a "few" years back and gravity was no longer my friend and if I even think of something to eat, I gain weight. So skinny girls beware. You've got your work cut out for you, just like me.
(Gee, I hope I'm not offending anyone )

I'm still not seeing the siggy. If some are seeing it, then I guess it has to do with my settings and not yours, so don't worry about it.

well, random, huh?
I am looking at a nanny job in our area. We'll see if they think I'm not too old for two little kids. I spent Sunday night watching my cousin's four kids, all under 8. It was fun, but I was sore afterwards...
And HP will be fixing my laptop for free...yay! The problem I had was guaranteed for a two year stint, instead of the regular one year warrenty. When I send my laptop away, I will be getting it back 7-9 days. YAY! I miss you girlys so much.
DK, I'm soo sorry that you lost your job. It sucks big time.

Good luck on the interview! If I could afford a nanny and you lived close, I'd hire you!

I have accumulated a LOT of junk in the 10 plus years I have lived here. Good thing is, I've gotten rid of a lot of it, and the rest I'm either going to sell or give to charity.
I wonder how much I could get for a troublesome cat? She just knocked an empty rate on top of herself, so now she's trapped. I'm thinking of leaving her there.

geez -- I'm behind in posting -- been reading/trying to catch
up on things here...
DK -- I'm very sorry to hear about your job... I'm keeping
ya in my thoughts and prayers too (hugs)!! -- I know that is a lot to go through & things are pretty crazy/scary & unsure
times for so many these days ... please hang in there &
try to remember that when God closes a door -- He always
opens a window somewhere...
Alice/Grey... I hope things work out with that nanny job --
keeping ya in prayers and good thoughts too !! and it
sounds great about your computer...
in fact I'm keeping us all (everyone here) in prayers/& good thoughts --(unsure times for us all & we all gotta stick together !)
Nay -- sending out big prayers to you and your family (hope your folks are doing alright..) and big prayers to folks in Australia effected by the fires !!
Welcome back !! - to Birdseed & Beguiled !! -- hope Mexico &
the cruise was awesome !!
and just my two cents on what people say/do on this website vs
some of other Gsites... Hey -- Noone on this site has ever
offended - or bothered me -- I think this is a warm, caring & great group over here -- but at the same time I think we
are a realistic group --in that we realize that we & Gerry are all have 1 special thing in common if nothing else --
that we are all human & are all just trying to find our way in this world -- come what may (yes... hee hee I said come)
It could happen !!! hee hee...
but seriously -- this group is cool -- we realize that everyone
doesn't & shouldn't agree on everything & that everyone has
a right to their thoughts/feelings --that's what attracted me
to this site -- in first place - that and fact I recognized
DK, Grey & Leo & many of you from another site that I too am a member of (only I just lurk at other site now) --
anyways -- I missed yous guys & so I's is here now ---hee hee and glad to be here too !

Y'all are just too much. It's people like you that keep me going when I want to give up.
I must be crazy, though. Here I am, out of work myself, and just scheduled a major pickup at my house next week to give a bunch of my stuff to charity.

I had to go into my profile and select the "allow HTML" in my preferences. Now I can see the siggies!
Yes, I'm easily amused.
