OK -- must share --

I just saw this film called - Once tonight - at an old

local theatre here in G'boro (Greensboro) and I'm blown

away and smitten --- by this sweet little film --

the soundtrack is awesome -- the hot Irish singer/musician

named Glen Hansard -- is fine -- (he could give G a bit of a rival

at least - I think so... hee hee) and he and the girl singer/musician

Marketa Irglova - are so cute together & both so talented...

this film won 2007 Spirit Award -- I think bio said

plus the couple's duet song called "Falling Slowly" -

won an Oscar in 2007 for best song...


geez -- what is it -- about men from the UK & Australia too --

they are sooo damn hot !!!!

this hot Irishman is 38 -- close to G's age --

(also found out - that Glen was also in another -- cool

Irish music move -- that I saw a few years back --

called the Committments - he was one of guitar players in

that band/in the film)

I missed this film when it origianlly came out....so glad

I caught it finally...

They were a couple? I thought I saw an interview with the guy that said everyone thought they were a couple because of the movie but they weren't. They were just friends. Now I'm confused.
I own the movie and it is great. Tee, I also loved The Committments. I saw it on tv the other day and almost fell out of my chair when I saw that he was in that movie too. I didn't remember him. His hair was longer and I hadn't seen it in ages. The soundtracks for both movies are great. I have them both on my IPOD.

I wasn't sure if they had been sweeties off film or not --

but they were so cute in the film -- great chemistry --

but also both so talented too.

Hey - Dallas -- I really loved the soundtrack from Once --

all the songs were -- really creative -- their voices blend

well together -- and - had their own kind of sound/style --

was a little different than the norm -- but in a very good
way -- (which I think in music can be hard to do --

even when an artist tries to make their own sound --

it's still tricky not to somehow - copy another sound that
is already been used -- if nothing else -- sub-consciously---
songs/sounds get in one's head -- and ya don't even

realize it at first...

80's -- anyone remember her ??)

I've had a very bad and upsetting afternoon....

So I think I'll make something chocolate. Chocolate cake with chocolate icing comes to mind, but since I don't have any of that in my pantry and I don't feel like going out to buy any, it might just come down to chocolate muffins, or chocolate chip cookies.

Or maybe I'll just go raid the fridge and get the Hershey's syrup out, and pour it directly into my mouth.
