| No, I wouldn't hit you. Some of us just don't have the immune system others do! I have always been prone to colds, as long as I've been on this earth. I actually haven't had one in over a year......which is probably the first time in my life I have gone that long without one. Caught this one from my mother, who isn't good at keeping them to herself. LOL! | |

| We have copperhead and coral snakes here. I'm pretty stern about keeping the door shut. We've had small geckos and skinks and birds in the house, but thank God, no snakes. I hope it stays this way.
Bitches can change. They can be spayed or bred (putting it politely) or put down. The last is pretty permanent.
I hear our looming hurricane season is going to be a whopper.

| Majestically picturesque? Not here. Don't you get cyclones all the time?
I think that 2-year-old was shot in the chest by a 4 or 5-year-old sibling with a "kiddie" gun that was loaded and resting in the corner, moments after the adult stepped out of the room.
The crabs I had a couple of weeks ago had very hard shells. Our winter wasn't hard, but weird.

| Hadn't thought of that, Julie. Jordy has been desexed though. Do they still 'feel' the urge after the snip?
Watching 'Quartet' with Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly and Michael Gambon at the moment. The British know how to write a full character. It's Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut. Caught the first half of 'The King's Speech' last night also. Timeless class.

| I don't know if neutered animals feel the urge, but I'm sure they can still smell something different. They may also want to make a new friend.
I don't watch many British films. I do love Maggie Smith. She shows up in movies I like, like the Harry Potters, Sister Acts, and First Wives Club. Oooo, she was in the 1981 Clash of the Titans.

| Ha----glad to know I have real mental willpower Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I've been feeling strange vibes myself lately. Maybe it's spring fever? The shooting in Kentucky happened at the other end of the state, but it could have easily happened around here. One of my gun-totting coworkers was insistent that it couldn't happen to her children because the kids guns were always locked up----and they were taught to never, ever point them at anyone. Children always do what they're told---right? Random- I have my passport, now I just wonder if Carnival will still be in business in October. The ship I'm booked with hasn't had a problem------so far. | |

Adults aways do the right thing---right? What idiot left the gun loaded? It's that idiot's fault. If kids live around guns, they need training about safe gun handling. Same with knives, stoves, ovens, matches, lighters, heaters, water, fridges, freezers, cars, dogs, cats, pets, scissors, pens, pencils, forks, screwdrivers, rocks, etc. All things can be deadly if mishandled. Shar, good luck with the cruise. What port are you sailing out of? Bull mastiff? That's not dog, that's a wall!

| Some huge ugly things are big sissies.
Right now my favorite flavor (no u's) is strawberry. I'm enjoying my diet Big Red, imported French strawberry drop candies, occasional strawberry ice cream, and occasional strawberries.
Favorite food in general is Popeye's spicy fried chicken. Very yummy! Especially with Thai chicken sauce, with a big Bubba mug of diet Big Red.

| Hi Julie. How are you? Fried chicken is a newly discovered yummy treat for me. I was never into it because I thought it was too greasy and fattening but my fabulous butcher does little nibblie pieces with mixed spices. Droooooool. Strawberries have never been a fruit I could enjoy ... except in a jam.
CHEESE! Sami, cheese is a real weakness. Whenever possible and most soft and/or blue ranges. We have some tremendous brands over here. When you visit, I'll put out a wide selection for your dining/drinking pleasure.
But when it comes to frequent flavours, I lean more towards the salty and sour end. Lemon, lime.
That all said, my favourite 'meal' involves pasta (I include pizza in there too). For me, it comprises 3-4 meals a week. Sushi is also a regular choice.

| Earth used to have just one continent named Pangaea. The pieces have drifted apart over the years. If we wait long enough, we'll have one continent again and we can walk to and from each other's homes, no planes needed to cross the great ocean expanses.
No, I'm not smoking anything, but no telling what plants are pollutenating my air.

| Just bought my lotto ticket. Got my fingers and toes crossed (who am I fooling--there's no way I could cross my fat little toes)
Julie is just taking the loooooooooooooooong view-----or she's been picking the wrong kind of mushroom.
Nay, I wish you could bottle some of your energy--I need a case or three.
My favorite food is whatever I'm not allowed to have. Ok,my favorite food is someone-else's-cooking.
OK, my cruise.
It's in October. There are several women going, so it's a group thing (always more fun) We leave out of New Orleans for a seven day cruise to Grand Cayman (where I hope to snorkel) Cozumel, Mexico (where I shall visit a museum and attend a tequila tasting) and Montego Bay, Jamaica (where I plan to see the very haunted Rose Hall) Along with usual sit-on-deck-and -be-served delights.
I hope it's as fun as it sounds. Anyone want to come along?

| Shara, I hope you and your companions have a wonderful time!
The only 3 things I like on your list are the group of women, the museum, and being served delights. I'm not a fan of not-cold temperatures, fish poop water, salt water, salty air, breathing out of a tube, non-prescription goggles, anything haunted, or alcohol. I will pass on this trip.
If I should ever plan to visit something haunted, I would carry a variety of crosses, crucifixes, rosaries, icons of Jesus and Mary and saints, and bottles of Holy Water for exorcism purposes.
