Isn't it great, Donna? I enjoy seeing new members jump right into conversations.
Last weekend marked the final concert in the final location in the final year of Powderfinger, my absolute favourite band of bad-ass poets. As Brisbane boys, it must have been bittersweet to play for the last time in the their home town. I now have all but one of their seven albums. For all you non-Aussie folks, they are the best of the best.

In fact, I'm averaging about 30 minutes of sleep per night accompanied by about 7.5 hours of crying. My cats won't sleep with me anymore.
It's about as bad as when I heard from a friend of a cousin's boyfriend's mother's aunt's dogsitter's veterinarian's hairdresser that Gerry was dating some 19 year old model named Ingahardt....or was it Ingalls....it's true. I saw exclusive pictures of him with his hand down her pants and his tongue down her throat. She is not the girl for him, she will destroy his beautiful pure soul.
Poor Gerry. Always so misunderstood.

Sami, I grew up hearing them from my uncles actually. Their fame was before my time but I still know the words to many of their songs. Four fab men with two genius songwriters.
