Cool! Had friends who did karaoke at a church function, and that was the first time I sang in front of anyone by myself. I like singing, but I hardly can say that I'm good. I just say, I can hit notes.

I was all excited, I started buying cds, even bought a portable karaoke machine. Sadly, my voice hasn't gotten any better.

Actually, I watched the Political Debate, not only because it was the only one the two candidates are having but because they used a Gallop Poll system that recorded the reactions of female and male voters to the candidates'statements. Not surprisingly, male voters aligned themselves with the male candidate and conversely ... female to female. It was quite interesting to see the little line dip and rise.

Maybe I shouldn't have said "we".......

The biggest surprise was my roommate who did a song completely out of character for him but he was great. Listen to the song and you will understand why I set my alarm for 4 a.m. and surprised him in his room at 4:03 with a song. After a few laughs he went right back to asleep. But guess who is still awake? Maybe I should write a song about it or do a practical joke that doesn't require me to wake up at 4 a.m.

Sami--I like old music and I am just now getting to know who they are but I love the singer's voice. I find him oddly attractive, too.

The boys had so much fun last night we are now going to have to make it a regular thing. I have been challenged to sing a song that is newer than 1998. Most of the stuff I really like I was a child or wasn't even born when it was released.

Nay--I hope your allergies get better. Adding another link to the song that may work for you. I no longer find the lead singer remotely attractive because pageboys on men are a huge turnoff for me.

A random act of kindness to me by a total stranger really touched me today. I wish I had a way of finding out who she was.

K, a two hour sleep (and anti-histamines) helped. Lovely to hear about your random kindness. Maybe you could even plug it through a sms to your paper or put a radio call over.
