| I meant adults, Alice. I have decided to buy some small items and keep them in reserve for the just-in-case moments. If I don't use them, then I keep them for another person or occasion.
Now to my rant - I need more sleep. Am waking too bluidy early with my mind abuzzing with al things I need to do before finishing work this week.

| I know you meant adults...lol!
Well, that darned program is confusing. The instructions say in my email that if you download a trial version, all you have to do when you get a paid version, is key in the serial number code they give you and the program is yours. Quote: If you already have the trial version of the software you have just purchased installed on your computer, there is no need to download the software again. Simply launch your trial and enter the serial number provided below and follow the instructions. You will then have a fully functioning version!
But that's false. I had to look up customer service to find out that quote: The serial number WILL NOT work to unlock your trial.
So I had to delete the trial version and reinstall the paid version. Geez!

| Thanks Steph. I had to find the siggy I made last year. It was actually too big to use on other sites, so I had to put it away.
Helena, that bites. Darn it.

| Why is he moving, H? Try to find some positive spin on it - planned time together can equate to intensely intimate moments. | |

| I just saw this.... Helena, that's not that far away - especially if you want to make it work. I was engaged to a guy who was almost five hours away. He'd drive up to see me, then I'd drive down to see him, then we'd take a couple weeks away from each other. And that was before things were so convenient with the internet and cellphones, etc. It was actually when he decided to move near me that things in our relationship started going downhill. | |

The holidays suck...roommates suck...I am a private person...loner you could say...now I have to have roommate to keep my home...they are pains in my arse...sometimes they have rent, sometimes they don't...I want my solitude again!!! Me, my dog, and my cat...and to have no more freakin bills...(again...in dreams)...
Stress is at an all time high...and please excuse what I am about to say....lol...hopefully it's okay to say this here...I need a man...if you know what I mean...it's been four freakin years...talk about dry spell...

| Only four years? I'm not in much of a Christmas spirit, either. The family doesn't want to exchange gifts, my dad is still complaining about what happened last year with the garlic bread and how no one considers 'his feelings' and how he isn't coming up here for Christmas even if it's 70F and sunny....I have no decorations up, no cards mailed as of yet and to be completely honest, I have no desire to even go shopping to buy anything. My brother wants me to come down there for Christmas, and I almost hope it snows so I can just stay home. I know that sounds horrible, but that's the way I feel. *grump* | |

| Crap. I just realized that I forgot to send in my renewal of certification to the Missouri Commission of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Now I'll have to pay a $30 late fee. CRAP!! USUALLY, they send me something in the mail to remind me...they didn't this time, so it slipped my mind.
CRAP! | |

| DK, my family is kind of indifferent about gifts this year too. Nobody wants or needs anything, and I have told everyone not to buy me anything. I am trying to get the women in my family to do a girls' day instead and go to the spa, then lunch and/or a movie together. It would be fun to treat ourselves by doing something together instead of buying crap just to buy it. Plus, it would be relaxing and a great way to spend some quality time together. I don't get to visit them all often and when I do, it is always rushed. So I would love to do this instead of gifts. Maybe you can do something similair suring the holidays, if not with family, then with close girlfriends (the family that you chose!). That would get you in the mood for fun..... | |

| Yeah, I'm kind of feeling like that.
Don't you hate it when you do your job, and someone asks you if you still want to be part of the team? I'm doing my job!!! Is that not being part of the team?

| Oh yes, Alice.
Well....my ex , who is also still my friend, wanted to come out and visit for Christmas. After much thought, I told him no tonight. Also...no to New Years.
I just don't want to expend that kind of energy.
God....I guess I'm really over him.
