My apologies for forgetting peeps.
Emily, like yeah right. There's only one person who might be out of your league here and that is ............. Gerald Butters. LOVE the new avatar BTW!
DK, God gave men little dangly bits which regularly draw all blood away from their cranial hardware. In compensation, he gave women x-ray vision to see through their crap.
Hello dahling PJ. Skype is done via email address so I'd think international would be fine. You also have webcams with in-built microphones but if you're using your laptop, just check its settings.
'bella, you absolutely slay me.

Gerald Butters wishes he was in Em's league!
Random: I went straight to bed when I got home from work yesterday. Bad day, one of the supervisors and a friend of mine was fired - or quit, it depends on who you talk to. Anyway, he didn't deserve it, he had been there for YEARS and was thrown under the bus.

RIP Jane Russell, bombshell.
Good riddance, John Galliano.
I'm sorry to hear that about your colleague, Donna. If they've done their job well for so long, no-one should be treated so callously.

Thank you for that, Donna. That made my day.
And I'm sorry about your friend losing his job. It really makes you so angry when stuff like that happens. When someone has been working hard for a company and has given them years of their life, and then for the company to show no loyalty. It really is upsetting.
Nay, that was a nice video. I had to fight the tears a bit. Something about the combination of that song (whenever I hear it, my heart just fills, just like when I hear Louis Armstrong singing "What a Wonderful World") and those kids who must've worked so hard practicing that number and then got to have their big moment at the Oscars with all their family and friends at home watching. It really was lovely.

Tex, you'd scare the spit out of my kids! Get your southern behind over here pronto.
My class had a school presentation today that was an absolute hit ... mainly because they handcuffed and blindfolded me, then taunted me with water squirters, feather boas and plastic hammers. The things I do for love of my job.

It's meant to be a wet weekend here which will lower the temperature considerably. What's problematic is that suggestions of cyclones are circulating again.

Speaking from experience, that pretty much does sum up the typical day in the life of a teacher.
Nay, I said a prayer about y'all's cyclone threat. Stay safe!

I'm going to pull a 'Butler' and do some whining. Buckle up.
This afternoon, after a full day and a staff meeting, I supported a friend by participating in a full-on friggin' physical training session with her.
Laps. Punches. Sideway lunges. Sit ups. More lunges. Kettle weight. Heavy ball. Still more lunges.
My arms feel like wet noodles. Seriously, if I moan and groan upon wakening in the morning, my friend is officially and forever coded as 'The Bitch'.

Wahooooooo! Dallas made the Men's Health top ten angriest cities list!!!!
Whatever fu/ckers! Llike the author said, "Residents are less angry in cities where there's nothing to do. I'll take Dallas any day."
In all seriousness, the criteria is kind of stupid, especially the number of anger-management specialists per capita (one could argue that that is indicative of a more consciencious and stable populace who treat their anger problems) I'm not sure how the amount of time spent in rush hour traffic or percentage of those with high bloodpressure equate an angrier city. But I can see why Dallas would rank high on the time spent in traffic during rush hour factor. Dallas is so large and spread out in terms of square miles compared to other very large cities in the nation (Dallas is around the 7th -9th largest city), we spend a lot of time in traffic commuting - more than many other cities. And that can affect blood pressure, like many things in a large city and a large business hub. Again, not sure those things are indicative of a city being angry. Maybe more daily stress......
As for the number of aggravated assaults per capita? Meh, depends on how the cities cook the books. We have had a very aggressive police campaign that has been brutally honest about crime - and has shown how it has been steadily decreasing. I feel very safe in this city. So our reporting is probably more accurate, to a fault, than other cities. But at least that is a legitimate factor to consider. The others are kind of irrelevant, in my opinon. Men's Health needed to consider more than 4 random criteria, IMO. Most people who have been to Texas, or the South no that the people are far from angry as a whole. Texans are no nonsense, but very friendy.
But yay!!! Now everyone thinks we are an angry city!!! Don't mess with Texas!!!! Grrrrrrrr!!!!!
