I have had the privilege of seeing Gerry in person on two separate occasions this year. The first was for the NIMS premiere in LA, and the second was this past September at the Toronto International Film Festival.

I went to LA this past March for a charity event, but it just so happened the NIMS premiere was that very weekend, so a few of us 'skipped out' to attend. If you've never had an opportunity to attend a premiere in LA, I'm of the opinion that it's something everyone should experience at least once if given the chance. Being from the Midwest it isn't something I'm used to, but we had a blast! I arrived at the premiere location around 9-9:30am, and already people were starting to gather. I thought "this is going to be a loooong day", but actually it wasn't. I had fun just chatting with other people, taking in the atmosphere, and being entertained by the DJ who took the stage across the street (apparently they're pretty used to these sorts of things in LA, and are pretty fan friendly). Gerry finally arrived about 3-3:30ish, and I was lucky enough to get a picture taken with him.

For the second event in Toronto, I didn't get any face time with Gerry...but I did get to attend the premiere of Rocknrolla. And I got some pretty good pics, too. I was in the second row for the premiere with VIP seating, and had a birds eye view of the stage.

The film festival was an experience in and of itself, and I would recommend it even if Gerry isn't in attendance. There were celebrities EVERYWHERE. I personally met Viggo Mortenson and shook his hand, and I also saw Jason Isaacs, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, and a few others. AND I also got the unique opportunity to meet Michael Fassbender, who was in 300 with Gerry and was in Toronto to promote his movie "Hunger".

Toronto is a great city, and I'd love to visit again there soon.

I guess I'll have to organize my "Gerry sightings" soon. Being in CA, there have been quite a few great opportunities.

First Kevin Sorbo...Now Gerry...are they any OTHER fantastic celebrities that everybody else has met/seen/breathed-the-same-air except me?!!?

I med Fred Thompson of Law and order Wow is he a big man. He tucked me under his arm and I'm no shortie. 5'7" My camera fritzed out on me so no pics.

Hate when that happens...

I met the Goo Goo Dolls in 2000...got an autograph but no pics...and Robbie gave me chopsticks! lol

Ah, another "spartan". The one who "lost his head". Tom Wisdom. A very sweet guy.

Goo-goo's are great! Cool that you met them. And when you get something from them, that's extra special.

AH! That's who I thought that was...I love him in 300...so hot! Except for the part where he gets decapitated...that's kind of a bummer

Bennett and I were lucky enough to meet Jack Hannah 11 years ago at Sea World in Cleveland. We were able to go backstage before his show and Bennett got a private tour with the animals and was able to play with a 2 month old baby snow leopard. Of course the camera didn't work and the pics didn't come out but Bennett still remembers that day as if it was yesterday. He was only 6 then so I hope he will be able to keep that day in his brain forever.

He still wants to meet Gerry and I am hoping that it will happen at some point in his life.

I am hoping that will happen too, Oggy.

Never met an actor, not even an austrian one, but I had the chance of talking to some musicians after their concerts, like Tito from Tito & Tarantula, Sara Bettens from K's Choice and Tod A. from Firewater. Tod even drank a beer with me, but I don't have pics, would have lost my camera in the concert because of all the jumping and dancing...

I love meeting musical artists. After a show, you're hyped, they are hyped, and it is just magic if the artists are nice and accommodating.

I still have pictures and videos from the last big Leno showing in 2005. The videos and pictures are probably somewhere on the big sites. I'm am a handful of people who actually has video from the huge two hour signing, although I don't have everyone on video.
