You know, this isn't much of a clean panty thread when you talk about nuts and LJ's flashing avatar demanding attention.

Do you all remember a few nights ago when you were so cruelly and snidely mocking my frog fear?
Today, a brown snake - 1.5 metres long - was found coiled around a tree not 10 metres from my front door.
I was calm.

Well you wouldn't have had the snake in the first place if you hadn't run off the frogs.

Julie, I could do much worse than that.
Tonight, semillon in hand, thongs on feet, risotto for dinner, new Powderfinger album on stereo, I be content.
Le sigh.

Australian Lesson #1: No, I do NOT eat wombats but perhaps indigenous Australians did years ago.

We do rock! And thanks for that clip, Nay. I love that movie. And that song. And Dennis Quaid really was pretty hot back then.
I remember when I was a young girl close to that age, and I saw that movie when it first came out, I wanted to play Winona Ryder's part of Jerry Lee Lewis' 13-year-old wife (who was his 2nd cousin or something, BTW). Twisted, huh?

I grew up listening to him because my parents did, and I always loved him and his music. I think he's still alive, isn't he? I love how he can sing Great Balls of Fire, and then turn an amazing religious tune. A lot like Elvis, IMO.

when i saw that program that enlightened me, i think he was better than elvis! (don't anybody shoot me!) he had more energy, and was very unique. he screwed his career up when he married his cousin. who knows how big he could have been???
