I think Gerry would have a lot more fun with a man "date". They'd probably dress badly, drink a lot of beer and hard liquor, eat bad-for-you food, and watch sports.

Well seeing as how they raised over $56,000, I'd say the chance of me winning anything at this point are probably about like my chances of winning the lottery. It will be curious to see who does win. I wonder how many cleaned out their savings buying 'chances'.

I think that set visit is just as good a prize as the fake date.

$56,000 translates to 2,800 entries. That's impressive!

I've never visited any set, but seen pictures and read notes by people who did, and they all seem to have great fun, usually meeting more than one celebrity.

I wonder how many of those 2,800 entries were made by the same people.

I wasn't expecting to win anything anyway. At least the kids benefit, that's what counts in the end.

I heard through the grapevine today that Dyan donated her 'date' with Gerry to one of the KKC kids. If so, that was a very honorable and commendable thing to do. I'm going to assume the best that that wasn't part of the plan to begin with, too. Wink

at any rate, some little boy or girl is going to reap the benefits.
