As for watching Gman film...how many times have fans gone to a set? At least the ones that tell their stories, for those who tell, there are more who don't say a word.

I don't need .net to see Gman work.

But I am impressed that Gman agreed to this...I wonder what the agreement was...

Me, too. I'd like to know how they talked him and his management into or out of so much.

Just had a thought. You know how people pool money together and buy a whole bunch of lottery tickets and then share the winnings accordingly? What happens if a group of people pool money and donate it all under one name, and that name wins the date? How would that be handled? Would GB just date the whole bunch?

I don't think they'll allow that...lol, but it's an interesting idea...

I'm personally self conscious around Gman nowadays. I could just hear him talk relentlessly if someone like me won the date. lol!

Oggs, I know this thread is supposed to be about GB and the competition but I wanted you to know I have sent an Australian themed Christmas card and a small gift to little Noah. My class also signed the card.

When the heck will they pick more names it is awhile now

I was wondering that myself. I thought they were going to draw names every week.

If you click on the link in the second post, you will find winners' names listed after the "gifts" on that page. There are 9 "gifts" left to be given out.

I was bored so I clicked to see how many gifts have been given out. These are the recipients listed so far.

Nay, you asked about a guy winning back in November. So far all the names look female and have not repeated. Chances are more women entered than men.

I'm a cynic and I think it's possible that they draw names until they get a name they like and that name gets a gift. They could possibly throw out male names and names they don't like or names of people already gifted. They didn't say that the first name drawn each time is the ~~winner~~ gift recipient. As a matter of fact they don't say anything at all about how the gift recipients are selected/drawn/chosen/picked/divined.

I can't remember where I read it, but I read that the rabbi from KKC was in charge of drawing the names, and not the fansite. According to what I read, they were using a computer program to do so.

I asked Tamara if you'd be allowed to win more than one prize, and she said yes. So I don't think they're removing your other entries if you win. But the chances of winning ONE prize are slim to none, much less two.

I only entered two tickets. I don't have a lot of money to spend, but I did what I could and if it's meant to be, it will be. And the kids will get some help, either way.

A few weeks to go before the big date drawing. They are still accepting donations that create entries in the date drawing up until Feb. 13.
