Bud is excited when I get home yet I know he has slept on and off all day in this humidity. When we walk each morning and afternoon, he is frisky and very happy but panting quite hard at the end. It's almost too hot to cuddle.

The humidity has been ranging from 65% to 90% along the southern coast of Queensland, Sami. When I walk out of my newly air-conditioned classroom, it is similar to having a wet blanket hit you in the face!

Both of the last two night's temperatures has stayed around 24-25celsius and yesterday Brisbane has severe storm cells dump more than 10 centimetres of rain (more than half the yearly rainfall in 2 hours) in one day. Flash flooding everywhere and tens of thousands of homes were without power. Lightning strikes were in the four digits also.

And there's more on the way. February is traditionally a wet month where I live.

that's how the humidity is here as well.......sometimes even higher. so? i feel for ya. there aren't many things i hate worse than humidity!

well...there is that. from my experience.....a whole lot of fans are just fickle and go on to the next best thing fairly quickly. then, those of us who stick around and get involved sometimes reach a breaking point!

I'm certainly not fickle...but I do have a breaking point. And even the most longsuffering of people will move on, if something better comes along while they're putting up with the foolishness.

Maybe it depends on the 'life' of the success of the admired. Been a 'fan' of Kevin Sorbo's forever it seems now, but I've been in and out of it.

My roommate's dog has now become comfortable with me. She will follow me all around the house, into my room and watch me eat until I am finished.

Before, she wouldn't even step into my room. Now both dog and cat find my room, their second home...good or bad?

Yesterday, I came home after work to find the second bedroom's door open and a basket of freshly washed sheets on the floor with a bloody stain on them.

Object - a bone.
Culprit - my pup.

Now the little brat needs to learn how to use my washing machine.
