| Subject: Cheryl Woodcock's Inaugural Moments Wed Jan 21, 2009 8:27 pm | |
| Based on this story, it looks like Gerry stuck around for the inaugural address yesterday. Playing hookey from work, Gerry? I guess you can do that when you're the boss. http://www.etonline.com/news/2009/01/69913/index.html - Quote :
- ET's Cheryl Woodcock is in the middle of all the inauguration festivities, attending the Huffington Post party and joining actor Gerard Butler, who flew in from his movie set in Philadelphia, at the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
"Attending the swearing in was a life changing moment," Cheryl says of spending the day at the inauguration with Butler and 'The Ugly Truth' writer Karen Lutz, whose film will be released in July. "And how incredible it was for the collective consciousness to unite all together as one for change, hope and a better future. The air was electrified, rarified and deified."
Washington D.C. is filled with celebrities, and Cheryl got a chance to interview and hang out with a few at the Huffington Post party.
Kenneth Cole, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Val Kilmer, Teri Hatcher were just a few who Cheryl spoke with before going into the party.
From there, she enjoyed a performance from Sting, who was there with wife Trudie Styler, and Cheryl blogged with Glenn Close and Val Kilmer.
Keep it here for more inaugural coverage. | |
