| I actually didn't see one man dressed punkishly, Sami. They only seem to be a backdrop to the women's fashion. | |

| Nobody there really pulled off the concept. JMHO, but they don't need to use that "theme" again. | |

| Punk isn't fashion, more like anti-fashion, but more imaginative and fun than grunge. Punk fashion is like rap music. | |

| Which is exactly why Madonnas seems to be the only one staying true to the theme, Julie. She has this "I don't give a fig" blended with a "Look at me" attitude. | |

| Thanks, Dallas. I was working from my iPad and I don't know how to copy set amounts of texts yet. In fact, I am struggling with anything other than Windows based tasks. | |

| I use my IPad all the time to post articles. You click on a word in the article (I click on the first word) and wait until "Select" "Select All" "Cut" "Paste" pops up. Then click "Select All" on your IPad (highlighting the entire article) and pull up the forum and Tap in the box and the Paste command will come up just like it does when you right click in Windows.
You probably just need to get used to tapping or double tapping a word in the article until the command comes up. Sometimes it doesn't happen on the first try. For some reason I have that problem if my hands are cold. So I use a stylus often on my IPad -- it seems easier. | |

And here's Gerry smoking away in the background of this video (that's Katy Perry and Alex Chung, I think):

| Madonna was punk. So was Zandra Rhodes. Many seem to confuse goth with punk. I guess most skipped the punk part and went straight to couture. | |

| She sure is! I hope I'm half as brave as she is when I get to her age to dress as I feel like. | |

| I agree. People seemed to be confused about what is "Punk". I will forever equate the term punk to music by the Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ramones and the like.
I loved The Clash and The Ramones back in the day - and I was very young then, but I still remember their music clearly at that time and the music videos. I bought their albums, and still have them.
BTW, I have a Kate Spade Rock the Casbah Georgie (clutch). I actually was carrying it one night and someone asked me about it. She didn't get the reference. Needless to say I didn't spend a lot of time speaking to her. She obviously was a big, dull dud who knew nothing about pop culture. Hahahaha.

Did The Butler Do It? Gerard and Alexa Chung Hang Out at The Met Gala Afterparty Posted on May 8, 2013 by Jen Paul
Snickersnort.
Gerard Butler continued his quest to bed Alexa Chung at the Met Gala afterparty at The Standard Hotel in New York on Monday night.
The 43-year-old Scottish actor sidled up to the professional fashion week front row attendee and she responded by shoving her canapé in his mouth – which was handy as she was no doubt looking for the nearest bin for ages.
Gerry’s been trying to get a chance to hit the former British TV presenter’s slender backside like a nail gun through cellophane since at least 2009 when he was a guest on her now-defunct MTV show.
His chat-up technique back then involved spraying it rather than saying it details of a recent threesome he’d enjoyed (alcohol’s a terrible thing, isn’t it ladies).
‘The Butler did it,’ he said as they played a game during the interview. ‘If you’d have asked me if I’d had a twosome I would have said, “The Butler didn’t do it”.’
Alexa was with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner back then but she’s currently single, so perhaps he repaid the favour she did him at the Met Gala by stuffing something unwanted in her mouth late Monday night.
