Gerard Butler: Coachella Hunk

Heading out to enjoy some music and a little fun, Gerard Butler attended the Coachella Music and Arts Festival on Friday (April 20) in Indio, CA.

The “Olympus has Fallen” hunk tried to keep a low profile in a black shirt and a black cap, as he hung out with pals and grabbed a smoke while checking out the bands.

Friday night began the second weekend of the annual music festival, which brings in people from all over the world to hear groups such as Blur and Phoenix featuring R. Kelly.

A portion of the money raised during the two-weekend event goes to charities including The Painted Turtle, Indio Teen Center, and Global Inheritance.

As a non-smoker, it would be easy for me to be self-righteous about him taking up the habit again.

Instead, I'll say this - What's the bet he will say that the stress of filming and the times his life has been in danger (surfing, neck bones etc) pushed him over the edge?!

I like the mental rush of smoking. I was a secondhand smoker for a couple of years in school. I hate the smell and the smoke and the coughing and the eye-watering. Still, the mental stilmulant of nicotine, sometimes plus caffeine, is amazing.

I've given serious thoughts to getting nicotine patches for recreational use. Nicotine + caffeine + sugar = GENIUS!

GB should just say he's smoking because he feels like it.

I quit smoking three years ago. I miss it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Would probably start again if I could afford to. Know it's bad. Still a nicotine addict.

At this point it would be stupid to go back putting nicotine in my body at all. I've been off the smokes for 3 years. I actually enjoyed smoking.
