Russell Brand may have moved on pretty quick since his split with Katy Perry, but now the blue haired beauty has been linked to romance with Jennifer Aniston's ex. Could this mark the start of a new love for Katy Perry?

The 'Fireworks' singer has been spotted out and about in Paris during Paris Fashion Week, but could her distracted demeanour be a sign that she's tote's obsessed with Gerard Butler?

Our inner rumour bunny likes to think so, as Katy Perry has been linked to 42-year-old Gerard Butler as they were spotted dining together a few times before Gerard checked into rehab. Gerard reportedly even offered Katy a Chopard bracelet. Now that's our kind of dinner date!

A source told Now magazine: "Gerard's always had a soft spot for her. As soon as he heard about her split from Russell Brand he got in touch. It was actually on her advice that he went to rehab."

While Gerard Butler is tackling his own demons with substance abuse it's not surprising that Katy's pals are telling her to be careful.

The source added: "They're planning to meet up again. Her friends are worried she's heading for trouble but she thinks he'd be a great way to mend her broken heart."

If there's one thing Katy likes, it's fixing a bad boy...

This one rumoured relationship we didn’t see coming, apparently Katy Perry has fallen head over heels for Gerard Butler!

Now magazine is reporting that newly single Katy has been spotted getting cosy with the 42-year-old Scot star. A source told the magazine:

“Gerard's always had a soft spot for her. As soon as he heard about her split from Russell Brand he got in touch.”

And that’s not all, apparently the pair have grown so close in recent weeks that it was actually Katy who persuaded Gerard to go to rehab for his addiction issues.

Gerard finished his treatment just a couple of weeks ago but before he entered the Betty Ford Center he found the time to take Katy out for some “low-key” dinners.

Whilst Katy’s divorce from Russell Brand has just been finalised, Gerard has had his fair share of celebrity romances, previously enjoying a high profile relationship with Jennifer Aniston. We can't wait to see if this romance is real!

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me. She looks like his type, and Katy is beautiful.
