Veteran's Day 2010

I get to see a lot of heroism in action and while at times the circumstances are hard to deal with, I never get tired of watching the men and women work to make sure we are safe.

Today we honor those who took heroism to the highest level. I don't think I would be able to sign up for something knowing I could be called to a foreign country where I could be killed or injured while serving. I am thankful that there are hundreds of thousands of men and women who have had that kind of strength in the past and the present.

i was so humbled listening to all the stories told on the radio this morning about vets and family members. GOD bless them all!

I've been thinking about them today. My roomie is a veteran. My father is. One of my dear friends is serving in Hawaii, and I had a few cousins serve in Iraq and the last war.
