Running the risk of sounding completely crazy, I have a thing for guys that make funny faces for the camera. I think it has something to do with it showing off their sense of humor. So while it might seem like I’m making fun of our favorite Scottish stud Gerard Butler, I am truly proving that I love him even more!

Gerry made his arrival, rockin’ a laid back suit ensemble at the amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS 2010 benefit gala at the Hotel du Cap on May 20, 2010 in Antibes, France.

He was joined on the red carpet by event host, Alan Cummings, designers, Tom Ford and Roberto Cavalli, and celebrities Mick Jagger, Rachel Bilson, Emily Blunt, Marion Cotillard, and Michelle Rodriguez.

Since 1993, Cinema Against AIDS events around the world have raised more than $50 million for lifesaving AIDS research.

Gerard Butler suits up for amfAR’s Cinema Against Aids gala held at the Hotel du Cap on Thursday (May 20) in Antibes, France.

The 40-year-old Scottish actor also attended the Amend Charity Luncheon in Antibes earlier in the week at the same venue!

Also pictured inside is Gerry at the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday! Gerry met Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner before the race.

GERARD BUTLER is proving to be a real Rock'n'Rolla as he canes it at the Cannes Film Festival nightlife.
The Paisley hellraiser took a break from filming latest movie Coriolanus in Serbia to pitch up at the amfAR Cinema Against Aids gala at the Hotel du Cap last night.

The Bounty Hunter star then moved on to the swanky VIP Room in the early hours for a Haiti fundraiser.

At least he's having tear-ups for good causes.

Speaking on the red carpet, he said: "I'm not exactly Mr Values. Life is about enjoying yourself and that's what I do."
And he certainly seemed to be doing that as got up close and personal with actress ELIZABETH BANKS and Olympic swimmer CHARLENE WITTSTOCK, who happens to be the girlfriend of PRINCE ALBERTOF MONACO.

While Gerard lapped up the ladies' attention, macho RUSSELL CROWE was having a far more awkward encounter with camp fashion designer KARL LAGERFELD.

A source at amfAR party said: "It was hilarious. Karl flounced over to say hi and congratulate him on Robin Hood. But Russell looked really uncomfortable and seemed relieved when his wife DANIELLE came over."

at least he's honest.
