Random Acts of Kindness Empty
PostSubject: Random Acts of Kindness   Random Acts of Kindness Icon_minitimeSun Oct 17, 2010 10:59 pm

There has been a lot of dwelling on negative things and I want to send out some happy thoughts. I have shared privately some of the things I have been dealing with and it's not that much better. However, a few times a week people I know and other strangers seem to give me the push I need. This happens to all of us. We just don't share it. I have some from last week:

1. I was sitting at my desk near tears because of something I had just heard and a co-worker walked by and drew a heart on my calendar and walked away. That tiny heart said a lot without using words.

2. I was in a hurry the other evening and I stopped at a local restaurant for some carry out. I was in such as hurry I left my wallet at home. I told the cashier to keep my fish and chips warm that I would be right back. But a nice gentleman behind me said he would pay for my dinner and not to worry. He wouldn't tell me who he was so I could pay him back. I was having a challenging day and that put it all in perspective that there are still kind people out there.

3. My BFF just lets me cry on his shoulder sometimes without talking. I really needed it last week. He deserves every fancy dinner, pie, and cupcake I make.

Okay, so let's think happy thoughts! What are yours?

I feel selfish because they helped me a lot, too. I am feeling very alone tonight because I had a house full of people until earlier this afternoon.

I think when we are open to seeing the good in the world, good things will happen. I deal with enough heartbreak in my job!

I wan you and everyone to have an awesome week!
