But seriously, she and her husband live in Jupiter, FL (I believe). And that's also where St Louis Cardinals do Spring training. My guess is that it's something to do with that baseball movie project.

I gotta say that I hope Gerry doesn't play a baseball player. If he does, he needs to play it as an immigrant with his natural accent. He has already said he doesn't like baseball in interviews (who knows if he was just pandering to the soccer crowd) which makes me wince when I think of him playing a baseball player. And I don't think I could stand knowing that and alsowatch him bastardize the national pastime with his American accent.

Yeah, I know some of you would love to see him in baseball pants with a mooseknuckle and all. But the accent thing makes me want to punch him in his mooseknuckle.

And that movie sounds like another "Lifetime" move, not one for the big screen. Didn't Dennis Quaid do a movie similiar to this in the last couple of years?

Nay, this is the movie "Slide" that was reported awhile back. Evil Twins is involved. Rumor is that Gerry is going to play the lead, but that hasn't been confirmed as far as I know.

Bearing in mind that I know no more than anyone else here, so this is just speculation on my part, but Gerry was seen eating at the Bonefish Grill, most likely in Ft. Lauderdale, as that is closer to Jupiter (where he was seen dining with Olivia Newton-John before), a bit farther down into South Florida than in the Tampa/St.Pete area. There is a Bonefish in Ft. Lauderdale, and that's very near Jupiter. (We have a Bonefish here in our area - Destin - as well, and it's a wonderful restaurant, though a bit pricey - one of the more expensive places to eat here in Northwest Florida, so we have only been a few times). As the Cardinals train in Jupiter, if he is in Florida for that purpose, I expect that is where he is. Also, he does have friends in Miami, and From Jupiter/Ft. Lauderdale, Miami is just down the road so he may be on his way there as well. As it is much of the time with Gerry, it's just a "wait and see" thing...and maybe we'll see or hear something more of his whereabouts today or this week. The man is full of surprises...and as always, keeps us on our toes wondering...Hope everyone has a good Monday, although "good" and "Monday" is somewhat of an oxymoron, isn't it? Have one anyway.....

Well if he is doing research for Slide with the Cardinals, he couldn't have picked a better team.

WOAH, Wait DonnaKat...he could have gone to Boynton Beach and trained with the Braves...I'm a Georgia gal, born and raised there, so naturally I'm a Braves fan (won't knock the Card's though, they ARE a good team as well....), but would have been thrilled had he ended up at the Braves camp....then again, we aren't really sure that is why he is in Jupiter, or South Florida...must remember, he has friends in Miami, and he's in that general area...but the Jupiter connection is very suspicious for being there for Card's spring training...maybe we'll find out more this week.

PLR...Tense

I have a correction to make...as I made a mistake about the Braves Spring training location...years ago, they trained at Boynton Beach, but I was reminded by my aunt just now that they moved their training camp to the Orlando area some years ago. So just wanted to make that correction so I wouldn't look like a dimwit here....my bad...living in the past, I suppose...Thanks....
