Gerry called the GALS convention tonight and said he was heading to the airport or traveling (something like that). May have been heading to Glasglow airport and then connecting through Heathrow?

BTW, he said that he would match any donations raised for charity during the actions. Very nice thing to do.

Apparently he called a left a message - probably on Dayna's cell - today that was played during the event tonight. I think he did that last year too. In fact, he may do that most years. I'm sure that they will have it up on their website after the weekend.

His cell mate from LAC - named Reno somethting (the guy who got stabbed in the neck by Gerry) was the special guest this year.

Reno is a nice guy, we chat on Twitter sometimes. I believe he read a text from Gerry to the convention as well. I don't know specifics, I haven't been following the convention or anything, just what I read other places. Good for Gerry to match the donations.

Mistakes in grammar and spelling every once in a while isn't a problem to me. I'm definitely not an English major or an educator. Shoot, I make mistakes all the time.

But when I see something like this:

I just wanna... Mad

My cousin grew up in California, there's really no excuse. If she grew up in Jamaica, I could probably forgive her. In one of my other groups, we have a very cool girl from Ireland, who can't spell worth a dime. But it doesn't bother me, as long as I can figure out what she's saying. If not, I ask.

And my cousin always types in CAPS.

But she's a really sweet lady.

I understand. I get in a hurry when I post and sometimes I leave out words. I always connected to Facebook but most of my friends are pretty coherent in grammar. The things that bother me are political rants on there!

I have no excuses for my bad grammar, though. I was an English and a communications major and I have degrees! I should know better!
