Thanks, buddy!
Did I give you a copy of BoB? I probably didn't knowing that it's available, but if you get to watch any, watch particularly "Why We Fight". I think it's the 7th or 8th chapter. I think you'll like what you see....

I saw BoB and almost started snickering....until I realized what you meant.
No, I don't believe I have that one. I'll have to look it up.

I've posted this on the Tom forum, but I thought I'd cross post it here. I hope this comes to the States soon, I'd love to see it.

I didn't, thanks!
I haven't been keeping up with Tom news of late, it just got to be too much. I deactivated the forum for the time being, until I can give it/him the time it/him deserves. I'd love to get it back up and running again, though.

Well, maybe this is a good start. Last year Michael won best actor, and look what is happening.

Just watching Sweeney Todd, TV version with Tom in it. Surprisingly, I haven't seen the Depp version.
Tom is adorable in the movie, even though it's more realistic than I expected. Of course I knew the subject, just don't always want to see it, you know.
Anyway, because I wasn't sure it was Tom, had to look his IMDB up, and wow, he's in Inception, he has a version of Wuthering Heights, Fury Road, and still have to see Bronson.
You go boy!

Yep, the Sweeney Todd movie is very good. Thanks for reminding me, it's on Charter on Demand and this is the last day I can record it.
Tom was excellent as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. He also was in a PBS version of Oliver Twist, and did a great job in that.

I found this earlier tonight. Apparently Tom is in Chicago right now in rehearsal for a play called "Long Red Road". Opening night is next Monday (Feb 22), and it's running through March 21. I am tempted to see if there are tix available, Chicago is only about a five hour drive for me.

There was an article in today's Chicago Tribune about the play. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is directing it.

Well, I gave in. I know if I don't go see this play, I will be kicking myself. The boss said I could take off on Friday, so I plan on taking the train into Chicago on Friday, March 19, seeing the matinee on Saturday, and coming home that Sunday. It will be my first day of Spring/early birthday gift to myself.
I don't want to chance trying to go earlier, with all of the snow everyone has had. Plus we're too busy at work right now. I think I can wait three weeks.

Yep, I just wish someone was going with me. I'm going to take a train for the first time in my life.
I haven't been to Chicago in about 20 years. I want to do a bit of walking around on Friday, maybe visit a museum or something.
