He is one of the sexiest men to grace Hollywood's red carpets.
But Gerard Butler, 47, is pulling off a different look as he continued filming for his latest movie Keepers in Mull of Galloway, Scotland on Thursday.
Worlds away from his red carpet appearances, the A-lister was dressed in a cosy woolly jumper and a flat cap on a Scottish hillside.
Worlds away: Hollywood heartthrob Gerard Butler is pulling off a different look as he continued filming for his latest movie Keepers in Mull of Galloway, Scotland on Thursday
Prepared for the chilly conditions, he teamed it with baggy trackies and a thick coat.
The gorgeous Scot has also grown his stylish stubble out, as he now wears an unkempt beard for the part.
Keepers harks back to the true story in the 1900s dubbed the Flannan Isles mystery.
The mystery accounts when keepers Thomas Marshall, James Ducat and Donald MacArthur disappeared from a lighthouse during a terrible storm.

The bodies of the three men were never found, which got tongues wagging about what could have happened to the men.
Gerard will star in the thriller alongside Peter Mullan and Joe Alwyn.
The dashing actor is well known for his action man and brooding leading man parts such as Spartan King Leonidas in 300 and heartthrob Gerry in PS I Love You.
In November, he was training up to five times a week to get a muscular body for his role as a 'big' undercover policeman.

But for his upcoming flick, he has swapped the six-hour workouts for a fuller figure as he goes back to his country Scottish roots.
At the time, he told QC: 'Right now I’m training five times a week. It’s always a little harder when you’re on the road, unless you’re there for a while.
'I do a lot of cardio but I’m starting to lift heavy because in my next movie I’m supposed to be beefy, a big undercover cop in LA covered in tattoos – so it’s not big and cut, it’s just big! That’s a pain, it hurts.'
Spotted: The PS I Love You star was seen filming scenes with Scot co-star Peter Mullan
