Gerard Butler Giving Love A Second Chance

Gerard Butler’s girlfriend, Morgan Brown, pulled the plug on their two-year relationship in January after the never-married actor refused to commit.

But just one month later — after he began casually dating other women — Dish Nation has exclusively learned she’s had a change of heart and agreed to give the marriage-shy actor another chance.

“Gerard was brokenhearted that Morgan called it quits because he really loves her,” a source dished.

“And while he’s telling pals he considered shopping for rings, he didn’t want to feel pressured.”

Gerard, 46, got quite serious with Morgan during their relationship, even introducing her to his mother.

“Gerard has never had trouble finding women to date, and although he’s been in some serious relationships, he hasn’t gotten around to popping the question,” the insider added.

“And it was no different with Morgan. Seems like the moment women start singing the wedding march – he disappears.”

The source says the London is Falling actor even gotten close to Morgan’s 10-year-old son, and the boy was crazy about him. But the single mom, who owns her own interior design business, isn’t interested in playing house and is looking for a committed relationship.

“Not long after they split Morgan began hearing rumors that Gerard was hooking up with singer Rita Ora and she was upset,” the insider said.

“Then when he hooked up with gorgeous Guess model Charlotte McKinney at the Daytona 500, Morgan realized she may lose him for good.

“Morgan got back in touch with Gerard and told him she wanted to give love another try, and because he cares about her, they began seeing each other again.”

And Morgan isn’t the only woman who’d like to see Gerard commit. His mother Margaret has been pushing for him to find a nice girl and settle down.

“Gerard’s mom doesn’t understand why her youngest son can’t find lasting love. She’s been very fond of some of his past girlfriends, and was disappointed when those relationships ended,” the source said.

“Now at 46 she thinks it’s more than time for her youngest son to marry, and she’d like nothing more than for his relationship with Morgan to work out.”
