| Since I know the last thing potential members want is to join a place and be bombarded by a bunch of rules , I'll keep it as simple and painless as possible. 1) With the exception of the "adult" section, this is not a strictly over 18 board. This means, please at least try to keep the dialogue PG-13 or better. I'm not a prude by any means, but I don't want minors coming here and having their parents get all weirded out on us because we said the F-bomb 18 times in one post and talked graphically about things better left said or shown in a porno movie. 2) Please be respectful to one another, as well as to Gerry, his family, his friends, women he's seen with, men he's seen with, his dog, other actors, etc. I don't think I need to elaborate on this in detail, other than to tell you to use common sense. Would you feel comfortable telling this same thing to someone's face? Please don't use the internet and it's supposed anomyminity to become a bully, or a vigilante, or a just plain old meany. If you do, I might just have to get in touch with that person personally and send them personally to your house. 3) Please don't take rants from other sites here without taking it up with me via PM first. For example, if you read something on another board and that member is registered here, and you don't like what they have to say, then let's try to deal with it in private before bringing it up here. And let me just say this...I can't control or monitor what people do on the internet...I can only moderate what happens here. And I don't want to become an internet policeman. I have a real job and a life outside of this forum, so I don't have time for it. If you're that upset with them, take it up with them. But let's not cause unnecessary drama here. 4) There will come times when threads are started and you *gasp* don't agree with what's being said. With that in mind, PLEASE don't take offense and belittle someone because they have voiced an opinion you don't agree with. Agree to disagree. That being said, I will allow personal opinions to be voiced here, as long as they don't venture into the realm of bashing and slander. For example: if you say you're in disagreement with another site's stance on a certain issue, let's say paparazzi pics... that is not bashing. I will allow that to be said, even to the point of naming the site. However, please don't begin ranting about how you hate thus and so, they're ignorant, their rules are stupid, etc. Don't make it personal. If I see that, I will have to slap you with a wet noodle. 5) I believe in treating people with dignity and respect. If you want to know my real pet peeve, it's publically humiliating and degrading someone. Please don't do it here. That's what PM's are for...well, they're not for humiilation and degradation either, but you get my point. Take it up with them in private, before you bring it here for the world to see. Who knows, maybe there was a miscommunication, and things can be worked out. But if you bring it here and hurt them, you're in danger of burning bridges you might regret you've burned later. I guess if I could sum it all up with this, I'll say it's all about plain old common sense and respect. You know, the stuff your mama and papa and relatives and teachers and everyone else and their grandmama were trying to drill into your head when you young and wiping snot on your shirt sleeve and eating dirt (hopefully y'all don't do that now, still). | |

| Hey, you know me. I'm not much into following any rules, but these seem reasonable. Are we allowed to throw poutine and brussel sprouts around here? | |

I can think of a few non-Butler hotties I would like to mention Ryan Reynolds and Brad Pitt - like you know ....

| Barbie dolls? Porcelain dolls? Guys and Dolls? Blow up dolls? Gerry dolls? I suppose we can, as long as we keep in mind that some members here might own dolls, and members who might join in the future might own dolls. Perhaps we can have a discussion from both sides of the issue (if indeed there is an issue). And no, I don't own a doll...at least not the kind I think you mean (but I have friends who do). | |

| I do collect dolls, figures, whatever you want to call them. I do take them around with me (although someone made a 'Jackie Jr' doll that I won, with yellow towel and um...yeah, some accentuated parts. There are some pictures around with fans and the doll).
I actually won a set of the Timeline figures at the GALS Vegas convention, and Gerry's figure was signed, which was really nice.
Say whatever you want about people and dolls or figures. Been there, done that.
