What The Butler Saw! Hunky Gerard flirts with fans at a market in Malibu looking as if he wished they had hung around longer
He only recently returned from a charitable mission to Africa working as a volunteer, but it looks like Gerard Butler was up for having fun on Tuesday when he flirted with some fans at a market in Malibu.
The stocky 44-year-old was clearly on downtime when the ladies cornered him at the car park, wearing a grey polo shirt, a pair of black Adidas track pants and a pair of bright turquoise trainers.
He seemed more than happy to be recognised and pose for photos with the pair as they left he almost looked as if he would have preferred that they stayed around longer.

The Scottish star has obviously been a busy boy of late working as an actor and a producer, so much so that he hasn't even had time to update his Twitter since last November.
If the Hollywood rumour mill is anything to go by, Gerard certainly possesses the perfect credentials to play the lead in the remake of the classic Point Break film. The towering Scotsman is in talks to play Bodhi, an expert extreme-sports athlete and bank robber – a role originally played by Patrick Swayze in Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 movie.
According to entertainment website The Hollywood Reporter, the 44-year-old star is poised to sign on the dotted line.
The remake is reported to be set in the world of extreme sports rather than the surf scene of the original movie and Gerard, with his bulky, toned frame, was said to be first choice for the role.
The part of Utah, originally played by Keanu Reeves, has not yet been cast, although Reeves has already ruled out the possibility of starring in the remake telling BBC 5 live last month
‘Absolutely not,' he said at the time. 'It’s not my place. If they can find a way to do it that works out good, then God bless them.’

Gerard, who scored last year with Olympus Has Fallen and is set for sequel London Has Fallen, is no stranger to either action or surfing on screen. He donned a wetsuit when he played real-life wave-catcher Frosty Hesson in 2012’s Chasing Mavericks.
He will first shoot Liongate’s epic fantasy Gods of Egypt, which starts filming in March, and close out London Is Falling, the sequel to his surprise action hit Olympus Has Fallen. Salt writer Kurt Wimmer has penned the screenplay for the new film, which is set in the international world of extreme sports as opposed to the Southern California surf scene of the original.
The 1991 movie was directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who later directed The Hurt Locker and last year's Zero Dark Thirty,
