Gerard Butler Flashes Guns at Global Citizen Festival!

Gerard Butler keeps it cool in a black leather jacket while attending the 2013 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on Saturday (September 28) in New York City.

The 43-year-old Scottish actor was seen showing off his guns while speaking onstage at the music festival, which aims to end extreme poverty by 2030.

Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, and Kings of Leon are all performing tonight to combat poverty.

Earlier in the week, Gerard carried his own bags while catching a departing flight out of LAX Airport.

World Party
The official after-party for the Global Citizen Festival was a musical celebration.

What: The Global Citizen Gala, hosted by RFR and LDV Hospitality. It served as the official after-party for the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, where Stevie Wonder, the Kings of Leon and Alicia Keys, among others, performed a concert to show their solidarity with NGO leaders and philanthropists who are helping to fight extreme poverty.

When: September 28th

Where: The Paramount Hotel, which was transformed into a musical extravaganza, with a light show by Blackship Moment and sets by Questlove, DJs Ben Lovett with Jake Clemons, Ben Bronfman and Teachers, and the violinist Tim Fain. LDV and No. 8 set up a VIP lounge on the mezzanine level.

Who: Michael Pitt, Amy Sacco, Gerard Butler, Zachary Levi, Michael Avedon and Natalie Imbruglia.

Why: Using musical celebration to fight poverty? No brainer.
