Gerard Butler & Madalina Ghenea: Capri Hollywood Film Festival!

Gerard Butler is dashing while attending Day 5 of the 2012 Capri Hollywood Film Festival on Sunday (December 30) in Capri, Italy.

The 43-year-old actor was accompanied by his beautiful girlfriend Madalina Ghenea and was seen giving an award to director Antoine Fuqua.

Antoine chatted with THR at the festival to defend Django Unchained director Quentin Tarantino from comments made by Spike Lee saying that the film was “disrespectful” to black people.

“That’s just not the way you do things,” Antoine shared. “If you disagree with the way a colleague did something, call him up, invite him out for a coffee, talk about it. But don’t do it publicly.”

He usually goes it alone on the red carpet to keep up his bachelor image.

But it seems that Gerard Butler is now well and truly part of a couple, as he showed up to the Capri Film Festival with girlfriend Madalina Ghenea in tow on Sunday.

The pair, who have been dating since earlier this year, stayed close to each other as they posed for photographs, their styles completely in sync.

Rumours abound that the couple will jet from Italy to Scotland to celebrate Hogmanay with Gerard's family on Monday, and it looked like they were already in the party spirit as they celebrated the fifth day of the film festival.

Although the PS I Love You actor has become known as a lothario since breaking into Hollywood, after being linked to a number of high-profile women, it seems that he has settled down with Madalina as the pair have become inseparable.

The Romanian supermodel looked understated but chic as she accompanied her man who was promoting his forthcoming film, Olympus Has Fallen.

She wore a modest, knee-length black dress, paired with thick black tights and a relatively conservative pair of dark stilettos.

Maintaining her demure and slightly retro look, the 24-year-old added a stylish navy blue coat over her outfit and wore a small black handbag on one arm.

The beauty kept her make-up natural and wore her dip-dyed hair tousled and relaxed over her shoulders as she draped herself around her boyfriend.

Clearly enamoured with her Hollywood beau, Madalina grinned as they wandered along the road together, keeping her eyes on him as much as possible.

The 48-year-old Scot looked just as stylish as his young girlfriend, keeping it simple in a pair of dark trousers, a grey T-shirt and a black tailored jacket.

After posing on the red carpet, the pair headed into the party, where Gerard got up on stage to present the director of his new film, Antoine Fuqua, with an award.

While he's spent the last few weeks promoting his latest film Playing For Keeps, which hits cinemas on New Year's Day, it seems the A-lister is already gearing up for the release of his next blockbuster.

In Olympus Has Fallen, Gerard is back to his best as a former Secret Service agent who is trying to prevent a terrorist attack on the White House.

That article says he's 48....

Guess they just doubled her age.

The 300 star was spotted celebrated New Year's Eve with Romanian model Madalina Ghenea on the island of Capri where he is promoting his upcoming film, Olympus Has Fallen.

Tje actor took his girlfriend to the Villa Verde restaurant for some festive partying and when the stroke of midnight arrived, he was all over her.
The 48-year-old actor put his arms around the slender brunette and gave her a long and intimate kiss in the middle of the crowded room.
Madalina, 24, wrapped her arms around Gerard's neck and returned his kiss with a passion that he couldn't resist.
Gerard had dressed elegantly for the occasion, wearing a blue pin-striped suit and white dress shirt open at the neck.

Madalina wore a clingy black ensemble that included a lacy black camisole and flowing black wrap; she wore her dark hair long and waving.

During the day the lovebirds enjoyed a romantic stroll that day taking in the sights and doing a little light shopping, with Gerard presumably picking up a few items for the night ahead.
Gerard may have been mismatched in grey trousers, a deeper grey jacket, brown shirt and scuffed shoes, but he was roguishly good-looking nevertheless.

His face was shadowed by a few days worth of beard.
Madalina, who met the A-lister at a promotion for Super Max razors early last year, looked blissfully happy to be with her man.

This has been something of a whirlwind trip for the supermodel, who also accompanied Gerard to the Capri Film Festival on Sunday as he did press for Olympus Has Fallen.

In Olympus Has Fallen, Gerard plays a former Secret Service agent who is trying to prevent a terrorist attack on the White House.
Madalina is also an aspiring actress who has landed a part in the film Dom Hemingway, currently in post production, about a safe-cracker who returns to his life of crime after 12 years of prison.
Gerard was even spotted visiting his lady love last year in the South of France, where her movie was shot.
The film stars Jude Law and Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke.

Gerard Butler and his girlfriend Madalina Ghenea share a romantic kiss to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2013 on Monday (December 31) in Capri, Italy.

The 43-year-old actor and his gal brought in the new year with friends at Villa Verde Restaurant.

Earlier in the day, Gerard and Madalina were spotted walking around town together and visiting some shops.
