After confirming his relationship with 25-year old Madalina Ghenea was over a week ago, Gerard Butler was out with his ex in Italy on Monday.
The Scottish actor and his Romania girlfriend were looking more than loved up as they held hands while walking by Rome's famous Fontana di Trevi.
Taking pictures of each other in the Italian capital, clearly the two were hoping these memories would last.

Butler, 43, had confirmed the end of his relationship with Romanian Ghenea, during a recent interview with German website Filmreporter.de.
He admitted that he was 'not [in a relationship] at the moment, but at some point I do want to settle down.'
Whatever the problems leading to their break up, clearly the couple had ironed them out for they looked the picture of happiness, walking along the cobble streets of Rome.
Holding on: Madalina looks like she doesn't want her Scottish hunk to get away again
Broke up: Gerard had confirmed he was single to a German news outlet just over a week ago
On again: They must have worked out their issues to get back to their happy place
Last month, Madalina had been waxing lyrical about their love, saying that the Hollywood actor, is her ‘first true love’, adding: ‘He’s a great guy who knows how to do everything and I hope he will never change in any way.’
Miss Ghenea said on the Italian talk show Verissimo that she was ready to have children ‘right now’, explaining: ‘I’ve always wanted a family, with many children and pets.’
She continued saying that marriage to the Scot was not a necessity: ‘For me, maybe it is too early at this point.’

Their reasons for being in the capital are not just romantic.
Ghenea has been taking part in a fashion shoot for magazine Io Donna with Toni Thorimbert, an art, fashion and advertising photographer.
And the actress will be awaiting the UK cinematic release of her film Dom Hemingway next year, which co-stars Jude Law, Richard E. Grant and Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke.

As Paolina, she plays a supporting role in the story about notorious safe-cracker Hemingway - played by Law - who after spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut, hits the streets of London to collect what he's owed for his silence.
Butler's next film too is schedule for a 2014 release, which sees him voice the character of Stoick The Vast in How To Train Your Dragon 2, but on Tuesday morning he was Gerard The Charitable.
On a stroll in the capital, the actor left a 20 euro note for a disabled homeless man lying on the street.
