Has Halloween come early? Bloody Gerard Butler attends high fashion party with big shaving cut on his neck
When you're as ruggedly handsome as Gerard Butler, it's hard to do anything wrong with the ladies.
And attending a high end fashion party with a giant shaving cut on your neck isn't a big deal either.
The 42-year-old Scotsman arrived at party in honour of Donatella Versace in New York on Wednesday evening with a stream of blood coming from a cut on his neck.
It seemed the accident prone actor had cut himself shaving while preparing for the stylish night out.
But despite his little shaving faux-pas, Gerard was still surrounded by beautiful women at the bash, who all fought for his attention and were probably more than happy to kiss and make it all better.
As the dark-haired stud lounged on a sofa, he was joined by Miss Donatella herself and Princess Charlene of Monaco as well as model Karolina Kurkova and actress Melissa George.
Whether he took advantage of the female beauty is unknown, as Gerard is currently reported to be dating Romanian super model Madalina Ghenea, who previously dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Sporting just a tight white T-shirt under his Versace suit, the actor happily chatted to his fashion friends, including British designer Christopher Kane, and seemed unaware of the stream of blood running down to his hairy chest.
The bash was attended by a range of A-list stars, including Kanye West, Alexa Chung and fashion darlings Coco Rocha, Doutzen Kroes, Stella Tennant and Linda Evangelista.
It was in honour of a new Versace store that opened in the hip Soho area of Manhattan.
The actor has been back on the Hollywood party scene again looking happy and healthy following a surfing accident late last year.
While filming his new surf flick Chasing Mavericks, Gerard got caught in two waves and nearly drowned.
He had been struggling with an injury he sustained during the dangerous accident this year, for which he eventually sought treatment in a rehab facility earlier this summer.
Footage of Gerard's accident, which happened during filming in California last December, was shown to the public for the first time on ABC's 'Good Morning America', and the actor revealed he thought he was going to die.
'It looked like a tsunami coming in. I was down. I just didn't come back up, really. I just started to think, "Wow, I'm going to die making a movie."
