For those who work in downtown Shreveport, expect to hear gunfire and explosions and see special effects smoke while during filming. Throughout Thursday, there will be actors portraying snipers on top of several rooftops of downtown buildings around the Caddo Parish Courthouse.

Shooting will happen depending on the weather.

"Olympus Has Fallen" stars Gerard Butler as a Secret Service agent trying to stop terrorists who have taken over the White House. He was recently here filming "Playing the Field".
The movie also stars Angela Bassett, Ashley Judd as the First Lady, and Aaron Eckhart as the President. Eckhart has been to Shreveport before. He starred in "Battle: Los Angeles", which was shot in 2010.

Now we know there will be snipers on rooftops. I didn't know Shreveport buildings look like DC buildings.
