I was going to comment on this too, Julie. I really don't think it's an example of irony. I would say synchronicity or coincidence, like you wrote. I prefer the term sychronicity because to me, coincidence makes things sound so random and meaningless. I don't really believe in coincidence. I think those little moments mean something.

He probably only reads emails from his acceptable list and lets all others get screened out as junk, like other people do. Or get a new email account and ignore the leaked one. No big deal.

True....but the phone number thingy is a bit more irritating. I get tons of spam on my email, I don't read them. I also have more than one email account, and some I only use because I know if I sign up for something I'll get spam from them.

The phone is another issue, though. There's a reason I don't give my cellphone out to just anybody. When they asked for it to put on the work phone list, I gave them my landline instead. I don't need people to have access to me 24/7 and if work needs me that bad, they can spring for me to have a work cellphone.
