Already saw it the first time, when it was called "Liar, Liar" with Jim Carrey, and he was lawyer rather than a soccer player.

Many other variations have been done over the years I'm sure, but that's the one that comes to mind. Maybe because it has been on TV lately.

I like Liar, Liar. I love the outtakes, esp. one where an actress called Carrey "overactor".

I actually like Liar, Liar too, Julie. However, what made that movie for me was Jim Carrey, at the height of his fame and comedic talents, and not the plot itself so much. The outtakes were just as funny as the movie itself. I also love the "overactor" one. That actress' name is Swoosie Kurtz. She's great, and has been around a long time. She was on the TV show "Sisters" back in the day and was in the movie Reality Bites, playing Winona Ryder's mom. Currently, she's on the TV show "Mike & Molly."................Gosh, I sound like a bio. I should be her agent or something. Haha!

Thanks for Swoosie's name. I couldn't recall it. I don't watch many TV shows and I've never seen M&M.

I'm wondering if PTF is geared towards adults, given GB's dialog that I heard on one of the kid's auditions. I don't suppose Hollyweird knows how to make non-G movies without gratuitous cussing (and sex).

Another movie where Gerry is shirtless in bed. Was he wearing a watch in the other ones? How can one take off one's shirt to sleep but not one's watch? That's kind of like those old porn movies where they're still wearing tube socks while doing the deed.
