It kills me how at each movie location Gerry has to scope out the BARS: not the mall, not the local tourist attractions, not the historic areas...the bars.

And shucks, I don't wanna be a "creeper" either, but I'd love to meet the man myself. I think it might be quite interesting...but sheesh...all this Twitter and FB action. Every move the dude makes is newsy, or so they all think. Geez!

Kinda feel sorry for the guy. And I wonder (since I don't follow other celebs except Duran Duran) if other celebrities are this much fodder for the tweeters and fbookers (oh, and the gossip rags).

When I meet him y'all won't hear it about it. J/K!!! lol. Maybe.

Peege, I think the reason people post his every move on Twitter and FB is not so much because they think it's newsworthy in and of itself. They're just excited they got to see or have contact with him and want to let everyone know about it, regardless of how minor the encounter. I can understand that.

But I agree with you, it seems a little much sometimes. It's really unbelievable how technology's advanced to the point where a celebrity's every move is shared all over the world the moment it happens by whatever stranger this celebrity happened to cross paths with.

It isn't just celebrities you know. It seems to have reach the point where a great many people in this world seem compelled to tell the universe every move they make--while ignoring any and all actual people around them.
