| Butler’s quite the gentleman’s man
Gerard Butler is a ladies’ man, but he’s also a guy’s guy. The “Bounty Hunter” star was spotted on a little shopping excursion Friday afternoon at the French Connection in SoHo, buying matching peacoats for himself and a male friend. He also signed autographs for fans and got along so well with the two male employees who helped him with his purchase that he invited them to “come out and party with me tonight.” Apparently there’s room for expansion in his dude crew.

| "Buying matching peacoats for himself and a male friend" and asking male sales staff to “come out and party with me tonight.”........
Could this story sound more gay?
And the last part sounds kind of sad.

| It does. I guess it depends on the guys he invited to party. Were they talking about picking up women or how good GB looked in the coat?
I sometimes get the feeling that he's afraid to be by himself.

That's long been my suspicion too, Shar.

| He needs a wife and kids. Or at least kids. Those will solve the lonesome problem. | |

| Funny you should say that, Alice. I'm a Scorpio. I was just thinking about this recently. While I enjoy (and very much need) other people in my life, I really need my alone time. Of course, that may just be because I've gotten used to going it alone for so many years. So maybe that's why.
Anyway, Scorpios (myself excluded) do tend to be magnetic people who draw others in. Maybe Gerry's so used to being the life of the party that he doesn't know what to do with himself on those occasions when he finds himself alone.
Or maybe, as it has been mentioned by more than one person on this site in the past, he doesn't really like himself, at least not completely. When you're alone, you have to deal with yourself and yourself alone. Who knows?

| My sister, one niece, one nephew, one sister in law, my paternal grandmother, and a very good friend are people who don't like being alone, or rather, you never see them alone. Two of those people have the same birthday as Gman. About half my family are Scorpios, so I'm only talking about the people I know. | |

| I hate the forced celebrations they do in school.
This is how my husband and I celebrate Valentine's Day.
On Valentine's Eve: Me: Did you get the cards and candies? H: What cards and candies? Me: The ones our child needs for Valentine's Day in school. H: Fine, I'll go get them. I address cards and portion out candies, then give to child. Usually no thanks is received.
Valentine's morning: Me: Did you get the cards and candies? Child: What cards and candies? Me: The ones you give out in class today for Valentine's Day. Child: Oh. There they are. I got them. Bye.
Valentine's afternoon-evening-night: Child: Nom nom nom. Me: There are hearts/lollipops/M&Ms/gum/candies/stickiness on/in/under the TV, coffee table, floor, couches, doors, doorknobs, faucets, computers, beds, blankets, etc. H: Fine, I'll clean it up. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat for the next week.
Seriously. There is absolutely nothing romantic about either VD.
