Gerard Butler Lunches In Greenwich Village [PHOTOS] October 26th, 2010 at 12:43 am
It seems like ages since some Gerard Butler out and about type of photos have reared their sexy head. He is seen here at Bar Pitti in Greenwich Village (holla stalker alert) having lunch where some fan recognizes him and they have a moment. In my dreams we have a moment too. That lasts several hours and it’s more on the horizontal side than the vertical side.
Gerard Butler On A Stick [PHOTOS]
I know the pictures look the same but I’m sure his hair moved in the breeze differently in each one so that makes it worth it to examine, drool and fantasize.
Gerard Butler Is A L’Oreal Spokesperson
A day when there are pictures of Gerard Butler is like Hump Day regardless of the day of the week. And I know you know what I’m referring to you dirty animals.
You’re welcome.
Click on the thumbnails to get Gerard up. His pictures. Filthy. All of you And this is why I love you all so very much!

| Now on JJ: Gerard Butler keeps a low profile in cap while dining with two female friends at Bar Pitti on Monday (October 25) in New York City.
The 40-year-old Scottish stud also recently grabbed a bite to eat at Baroque Tapas Restaurant.
JustJared.com spotted Gerry eating there with two mystery men on Friday afternoon (October 22).
Last week, he also came out to support the launch of the Global Poverty Project’s 1.4 Billion Reasons DVD with Hugh Jackman.

| Another article with pics at link. It's a stupid Daily Mail article. It obvious to me that he was waiting for his friends to have lunch, but they made it sound like this woman was a random fan....and the pic captions are ridiculous. But click the link for pics. Looks like Lolita was there...

Wait and they shall come! Chick magnet Gerard Butler sits back and lets the ladies flock to him
He's one of Hollywood's most notorious playboys, known for his roving eye and hunky looks.
And it looks like Gerard Butler doesn't have to make any effort at all to attract the attention of pretty girls.
The actor, who has been linked with Jennifer Aniston amongst others, went to lunch at Bar Pitti in New York yesterday with two female friends.
I'm your biggest fan! Gerard Butler gets approached by a mystery lady as he and two female friends visit Bar Pitti in New York yesterday
And even in a very low key outfit with a baseball cap pulled low over his face, the Scottish charmer still attracted plenty of attention.
The 40-year-old was clearly loving it when passing girls would stop and chat with him.
Butler has good reason to be in an upbeat mood: he is teaming up with television mogul Bob Cochran to produce a new TV show called Pinkerton.
Don't be shy! Gerard can't stop smiling as he is approached by a pretty brunette
Allan Pinkerton was a Scottish-born officer responsible for founding the first detective agency in the United States.
And the Starz TV network has already drafted a pilot script for the show, which will have an 8-10 hour show run.
Butler will serve as executive producer alongside Cochran, who is best known for co-creating hit TV show 24, featuring Kiefer Sutherland as federal agent Jack Bauer.
Distracted: Did another pretty New York girl catch Butler's eye?
Pinkerton was known as 'the spy master of the North', and emigrated to America in his early 20s, during the Civil War.
He served as the head of the Union Intelligence Service, which later became the U.S. Secret Service.
Cochran and Butler are very excited about the project, and deeply in admiration of the way Pinkerton guarded Abraham Lincoln during his 1861 inauguration and prevented an assassination attempt on the President in Baltimore.
Cochran says: 'He was an amazing guy - he took part in all the great sweeping events of the 19th century.'
Scottish playboy: Butler is known for his flirty behaviour and has been linked to Jennifer Aniston amongst others

| i have a question, and not sure where the original thread was.
i know 'back in the day' it used to be considered a step downward for a movie actor to do something for tv. is it still that way, and does this mean that gerry's movie star has lost some of it's shine? OR....is he just taking a brave step in his career?

| Nope it's not a step back anymore, especially with cable.
I can't remember when I first noticed it, when a big movie star, or former movie star worked on tv successfully, but others followed like Charlie Sheen (Two and a Half Men), Glenn Close (Damages), but there was one before all of them, and I can't remember off hand.
Cable series are quite popular and if successful, like the Sopranos and others since, can be quite lucrative.
I think it's good to have a diverse portfolio, even in Hollywood.

| Not a step down, especially if you also have the title executive producer. | |

| I think that if Gerard lived in the real world, many people would look at him out with these girls and see a father out with his daughter and her friends. And if they found out he was simply chasing them for sex or PR stunt, they would be grossed out.
However, he's Gerard Butler and some people want to believe that he is some romantic hero wanting to have his deep wounds healed by loving, sensitive woman who is the only one who can save him.
I think he has found the woman but that she is smart enough to see through him. Her name is Lolita.

You remind me of how so many of us women particularly STILL believe we have the power to change a man! Its that "beauty and the beast "syndrome--my goodness and my loyalty will turn this flawed person into a prince! NOT! Where this comes from in a woman's believe system, I dont know. The only person who can save you is yourself. The best relationships are among people who, though not perfect, are at their best and happiest selves. Therefore they are really able to add to another persons happiness and be a real partner .

Very true! I do know of one couple where the woman changed the man but they were both very young. I don't dislike Gerry. I bet he would be fun in a crowd of friends. But based on the image portrayed, he is not relationship material and I could never see him as romantic, faithful or a good partner. Looks don't matter when the important things aren't there.

| People can change or be changed if they're young, say under 25 - maybe 29. Once they settle into a pattern of living, there is no changing them, except through trauma.
GB's 40. He's been settled for at least a decade.
The main reason older men, and some older women, go for the 20-somethings is the 20-somethings can still change to fit into the older people's fixed lives.
So if you want to change a guy, get a young one while he's still flexible.

So if you want to change a guy, get a young one while he's still flexible. There's an unfortunate catch to this kind of May-Dec relationship. The younger partner is bound to mature and get older. Usually in this kind of partnership the younger person gets frustrated because he/she feels they never had a chance to develop their own goals, dreams or skills. You get tired of being tied to your mentor-esp if you're married to them. You want to spread your OWN wings and wind up divorcing them. This seems to happen when a younger partner reaches 40 or so. The only time there is an exception is when the younger person is basically waiting for the older partner to die(if theyre rich) for a big payout. And if you notice the younger partner almost NEVER marries or hooks up with another older person--but someone younger then themselves.

Yup. They are now older and set in their ways, and too old and cranky to change, so they need someone to change for them. I've noticed that the older people get, the more selfish they get about their lifestyles. So...if you want a long lasting marriage/relationship, get started while you're young and flexible. Find a compatible young and flexible partner, and evolve with your partner. Don't split with that partner, or you'll end up in the old/young cycle. Unless that's what you want in the first place. DK, I want a flexible guy, too.

| My mom says I'm "set in my ways". Ah well, as long as I'm happy and content, that's what counts .. right? At least they are no longer hounding me to get married. I think they gave up. | |

They're afraid you'll marry a 20-something boytoy. That would be socially devastating for them, living in a small conservative community.
