great songs, nay, but i always thought that "men without hats video was kinda creepy.

I love the Safety Dance, song and vid. I like the Literal Video vid of it, too.

I never knew "Men..." was from Canada. I thought they were Aussie. I never heard them speak, though. I just found it out from someone on twitter in Canada.

I loved the song, but I think the video didn't do anything to enhance the song.

We did a dance theme to Safety dance/men without hats. We made the place full of traffic signs, and decorations. It was fun. I have one of my signs, just made out of cardboard, of a walking sign, but instead, the characters are dancing. Kind of cool.

think i'm gonna have to pull out one of my mix cds of fun 80s music today. "safety dance" got me going........

I'm supposed to go to what's called an "Obscene Halloween Bash" next Saturday, and I have my costume .... Just call me "Officer Naughty".

i could probably work up the nerve to wear the outfit, but going to the party might be pushing it.

Haha, that was....interesting.

I took my cat for his yearly checkup this morning, and she showed me the inside of his mouth. His gums are very irritated and his back teeth is covered in tartar. I have to drop him off Tuesday morning, where they have to put him under anesthetic and clean his teeth, and maybe do some extractions. I'm rather worried because it's the same procedure my mom had to do with their dog a while back, and in the process the drill slipped and cut the dog's face where they had to put a bunch of stitches in it. Granted, it wasn't the same vet clinic, but still....

This is my baby. He has lost a significant amount of weight because his gums are too sore to eat. So it's something I can no longer put off. I knew he needed it done, but I haven't had the money. Counting the bloodwork I had to get done and shots, etc...and this added on...it could very well run up to about $500. Thank goodness they have a credit plan where I can pay it off in payments with no interest for 90 days.

I hope you kitty gets better. And your wallet, too.

I'm sorry your kitty had to go through this. I hope kitty gets better. Teeth aren't fun when there are problems.
