After reading that 'The Soloist' premiered in LA this week, I am mildly curious as to why GB wasn't present. Apparently, Jamie Foxx plays a schizophrenic musician who becomes homeless - let's hope it's not as depressing as it sounds.
Halle Berry was there too so you'd think that someone would relish the opportunity to 'get into' her!

I think it's time for me to stop wondering about GB....because I always turn out wrong.
LOL!
For all I know, he's in Costa Rica.

Hmmm Costa Rica?
Running with the locals, covered in war paint and eating a snake??? Saving the rainsforests from degradation? Soaking in a hot spa? Drinking the dark java juice ... coffee?
Or just hiding from Dallas and her Flip camera?

SPACE THROWS UP GIANT QUESTION
09:00 AEST Thu Apr 23 2009 By ninemsn staff
A spectacular image of a giant glowing question mark has been captured 100,000 light years from earth.
The group of galaxies interacting with another was spotted by the Hubble space telescope and the picture released in honour of the space instrument's 19th anniversary.
The discovery of the cosmic question mark comes just weeks after NASA photographs showing a "giant hand of god" reaching into the cosmos made worldwide headlines.

Over the past couple of weeks, my fitness kick had hit a plateau. So I decided to push myself by substituting the daily short distance rides with longer sprints.
On Friday, I did 9.5km. On both Saturday and Sunday, I did the same. It has made a remarkable difference to my cardio capacity, strength and general well-being.
I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who has a bike and helmet! DK??

Buy one. Get over it. Have a shower afterwards.
Is that the best you can give me???

Gee, I wonder how all of us kids ever survived riding bikes without helmets. Back in the day, any kid who wore a helmet while riding a bike was accused of being from the short bus.
Yes, I know that's not politically correct. But I'm old...older than PC.

Kids, not to put a damper on this conversation, but this swine flu thing sounds serious. Just be careful out there, please.

Two cases confirmed in Kansas...that's a bit too close to home for me. I just got back from NY last month. I wonder what the gestation period is for this strain?
And after the end of this month, I have no more health insurance until I can find a job.
Yeah, I'm more than a bit nervous about it.

Can cats catch swine flu? Because one of my cats has barely eaten in almost 2 weeks, and was throwing up, etc. about a week ago.

It's quite scary, be safe all.
All I can say is that despite the fact that I don't work, I'm grateful that I'm not confined in an office right now. Be careful, you precious workers.

She seems to be doing better now, but I have been really concerned about her. She has lost some weight, but then again she was really obese to begin with, so she needed to lose some...but not this way.
I don't take her to the vet for shots because, frankly, she won't let them near her and it's always traumatic. But I'm not only concerned for her, but for my other cat. He has had his shots, though.

I hope she gets better. It's not fun having anyone sick, even pets.
