Thank you Gerard Butler

1. For making me appreciate all of my ex boyfriends except for those who cheated.
2. For giving me and my friends something to laugh about on an almost daily basis.
3. For the times when you look smoking hot because sometimes you really do!
4. For appearing to be the total opposite of the character you played in the first movie I saw you in, P.S., I Love You. If I thought you were remotely like Gerry Kennedy you could have been the first movie star I had ever fell for (sorry for the dangling participle but you seem to like your dangling things).
5. For Dear Frankie. You did shine in that one.
6. For reminding me why I hate the song "Sex Bomb." Not a great song for seduction--at least not the version I heard this morning.
7. For your interesting fashion choices, especially your hats and jewelry.
8. For inspiring TMZ to write funny songs about you that make me laugh.
9. For sharing pictures of your home that just further enhance your "mystery."
10. For leading me here where I have met a great bunch of women who are smart and funny. I really needed some friends without penises!

I'll have to come back to this, but I can think of a few right now.

1) Thank you for having such fans as these here, because I'm met some real nice folks.

2) Thank you for being in 300, for it was there that I found wonderful actors who I enjoy now.

3) Thank you for your 'bird' pictures because they were the start of realizing that either you changed or I did.

BTW - due to all of Gerry's antics and latest press, all I could think of while he was roaring "Sex Bomb" was not that it was a reference to a sexy person, but instead to a STD Bomb.

I guess a Sex Bomb is when you have sex with a stranger and it blows up in your face - and goes straight to the media.

Thank you Gerard Butler. I sent the link of video of you singing "Sex Bomb" to some of my friends. Some of them have been going through a hard time and they needed the laugh. If you see Russell Crowe, Clive Owen, or another serious actor ask them if they would entertain us in song. The suggested playlist includes "Sexual Healing," "Like a Virgin" or anything by Barry White. I am sure those actors would love this kind of attention, too. Thank you in advance.

Thank you Gerard Butler for living your life in a way that changed mine. Watching the Hollywood PR machine made me realize that I can't be in PR --even in my small world--and be true to myself. I don't have a clue as to what is fake and what is real about you but I don't like manipulation and I think some of it is just that.

I am not a Gerard Butler hater. I can't hate any actor that has moved me so much with his talent. And I think he has a lot of it. I hope that he is being true to himself--even if that "self "is a womanizing, immature frat boy. It's a very freeing, peaceful experience. Authentic people earn my respect.

Reasons I'm thankful for Gerry Butler:

A) Acting talent, he really is a true gem in the acting community
B) He's funny as hell ( and doesn't care what others think about his humor)
C) He does what he wants when he wants to ( F the papp! ps...hopefully he doesn't get too crazy with that)
D) He's one of the nicest coolest actors I've ever met (taking time out, and listening to fans)
E) He made a drastic change in his life giving up everything he knew to go for his true passion!
F) He over came numerous addictions that affected his life

Heck, I don't even think Tom Jones should have sang it! How old was he when he recorded it and when did it come out? Its just not one of my favorites. It would have been sexier if Gerry sang "She's a Lady."

But I thank Gerry for his inspiring story of how he left a "practical" career and went for the dream! Its encouraging to me! I want to thank him and that other UK god Sean Bean for re kindling my fascination with Britain and the Isles. Thank you Gerry for your more than meets the eye talent and for my new love for blue/green eyes! I thought I was solely a dark eyed lover....until.......
