More Oscar presenters – announced, as usual, by theme.

Today’s theme: “Guys.”

And the guys in question include one fashion designer-turned-director, Tom Ford, and a bunch of actors: Gerard Butler, Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds and Sam Worthington.

Reeves and Gyllenhaal are the only two to have appeared on the Oscars before, although Ford’s clothes have been there many, many times.

In allocating tasks for this new crop of presenters, Oscar producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman might want to take note of my first Oscar encounter with one of them:

It came back in 1995, when Reeves (left), making his first appearance on the Oscar show, walked into the green room the day of rehearsals, carrying his motorcycle helmet in one hand and his script in the other.

“What are you doing?” official Oscar greeter Army Archerd asked Reeves, nodding toward the script page.

“One of the Best Picture things,” said Reeves, who’d be introducing the film clip for nominee “Pulp Fiction.”

“Oh, that’s good,” said Archerd.

“Is it?” asked Reeves, frowning. “I’m out there by myself. I wanted to give out an award, and be with a girl.”

Gerard Butler & Jake Gyllenhaal To Present At Oscars

A whole slew of Hollywood hunks just signed on to present at the 2010 Oscars Ceremony.

Taking to the podium to present include Gerard Butler, Bradley Cooper, Tom Ford, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds and Sam Worthington. A bunch of female hotties set to present at the ceremony were announced yesterday.

The 2010 Academy Awards will air Sunday (March 7) at 8/7c on ABC. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will serve as co-hosts of the event.

Elton John's party is the night of the Oscars. Maybe he will make an appearance afterwards, along with all the other parties...?

Yes, Paul Haggis the Haiti charity guy. Although most might know him as the Oscar winning writer and director of "Crash" (Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay). He also wrote "Million Dollar Baby" (another Best Picture Oscar Winner) and I think Casino Royale and Quantam of Solace.

He was a Scientologist, but made headlines late last year for leaving the church (after something like 35 years) and publically blasting them. It's really interesting to read what he has said about them.

Gerry will be presenting with Bradley Cooper and is not taking a date to the Oscars.

Just saw him interviewed on Extra. It was at the pre-Oscar Brioni party and he was interviewed by Terri Seymour. It was very short. He joked that he sent her a text asking her to go with him, then said that he wasn't taking a date.

I didn't watch Extra, but here's a related story from their website:

Oscar presenter Gerard Butler knows better than to come right out and say who he's bringing to the Academy Awards on Sunday.

"I'm not taking a date -- unless I have a serious girlfriend, which probably a lot of people know is very rare," Butler told "Extra" at the Relief for Haiti: Artists for Peace and Justice Benefit Wednesday night. "There are enough rumors about what's going on in my life without sparking another one."

Is Butler ever going to settle down? "Yeah, definitely. I give myself another 25-30 years. Then I think it will be time to settle down. I'm very relaxed about the whole thing."

Meanwhile, Butler is supporting this very worthwhile charity, which works toward helping Haiti's continuing recovery from the January earthquake.

"Once the immediate tragedy goes out of the way, people forget and then it just becomes another thing. In actual fact, this is just the start. Now is the chance to completely rebuild the infrastructure, a community, a country. What's great about Artists for Peace is they are very much about education -- rebuilding schools."

Gerard Butler could practically take anyone he’d like to the Oscars and he knows it. So who does he want to take as his date?

Olivia Wilde — maybe! HollywoodLife.com was right there when he joked — we think — with the House star about his golden ticket that comes with a plus one. “She asked him who he was taking and if he needed a chaperone!” we overheard at the Artist’s For Peace & Justice fundraiser sponsored by Brioni in Bar Nineteen 12 at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Mar. 3 “Gerard seemed perplexed as to who he’d take, but Olivia and her hubby Tao Ruspoli immediately volunteered to join him. “That’s when Gerard planted a big ol’ kiss on Olivia’s cheek and warned Tao, ‘Watch yourself! She’s going with me.’”

No harm here, the tight knit crew were just kidding folks! But more than a few ladies were getting in line to have a chance with the 40-year-old Bounty Hunter star who is rumored to be romancing co-star Jennifer Aniston, 40.

As usual he was the life of the party, making all the ladies break into fits of laughter whenever he chatted them up. He ran into Paul Haggis‘ wife as the party wound down, and they gave each other a big hug, then she looked at his face, he had lipstick marks everywhere! we witnessed. “It was funny, she just rubbed it off and sort of adjusted his tie.”

Gerard Butler made a cameo at the Artists for Peace & Justice Fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night.

Jennifer Aniston's Cabo companion was looking fine in a black suit at Bar Nineteen 12, and not exactly hurting for female company.

"He had women lining up to talk to him," dishes our eyes inside the posh hotel. "He turned on the charm and was really nice with anyone who approached him—but it seemed almost forced."

Our source claims Gerry, the notorious ladies' man, would flirt with any gal that came to him but wasn't exactly on the prowl.

"You could tell he just wanted to hang out with his friends there. He wasn't drinking, and was really mellow when he could be."

Interesting. Is that because he could actually be ready to take it to the next level with Jen? Uh...no, we seriously doubt it. Perhaps we have another Megan Fox on our hands. You know, plays into his media image (huge player) when he knows he's being watched.

We gotta say, we like tame Butler! Just don't get too boring on us, OK?

Another studmuffin totally swooped up at the soiree was...

Jon Hamm, who was hand in hand with his 11-year (and counting) girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt. Lucky bitch!

The Mad Men star looked dapper as always, dressed to kill in a black suit and black tie, but still had that scruff all over his face. Not sure how we feel about that, but who cares. It's Jon Hamm!

Jon was all smiles as his lady in red was at his side the entire night, mingling with the likes of Gerard and Olivia Wilde, who was also there.

A dude entirely out of the Hollywood scene recently was...

Cam Gigandet, who was spotted at the Barnes & Noble at L.A.'s The Grove shopping center.

The Twilight hunk and new father looked sexalicious in a heavy-looking black leather jacket and jeans.

"He was browsing the music section," spills our literate eyes. "He was looking at the opera books for a while before making his way up to the third floor."

Perusing the baby section maybe? The yummy dad was headed that way as he flew under the radar at the usually celeb-packed store.

Cam is currently in the middle of filming Burlesque with Christina Aguilera, so maybe he was just getting his research on.

Considering that Bounty Hunter is premiering on the 19th, and the Oscars is a film industry event, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gerry sit with Jennifer Aniston in the audience, or even walking the red carpet with her.

He should go alone. That way everyone knows he's up for grabs.

You don't know he's up for grabs?

One of these things around here says he's waiting til he's 70 or 80 to settle down. He'll be up for grabs for another 30-40 years.

If he's up for grabs and isn't taking a date, does that mean he's going to complain again about all the women wanting a piece of him and not giving him his "space"?
