| Looks like they caught him leaving the gym - Equinox. That would explain the outfit. | |

| I would assume that the hat and coat are for after the workout and the ride home. But you never know when it comes to Gerry and his attire.... BTW, he needs a new hat. | |

| The bike looks normal to me. It is a serious bike, not a kiddie or stunt bike. | |

| Just in case you want to run out and buy a jacket like Gerry's, it will only $ 1752.90. What a bargain for nylon!
http://00o00.blogspot.com/2009/10/butler-did-it-in-dolce-gabbana-fall.html
the butler did it in dolce & gabbana fall winter 2009
scottish actor gerard butler was out and about with his mountain bike in new york yesterday. he was sported in a dolce & gabbana fall winter 2009 nylon padded jacket.
the nylon jacket has asymmetrical diamond shaped details, making it more biker-ish and masculine. the jacket is available online at luisa via roma. i like it, but feel it's very pricey at £922 for a nylon jacket.

| I guess when you have money, you can afford to buy ridiculously overpriced stuff. As for me, if I had that kind of money to spend, it wouldn't be on a nylon jacket. He could have bought a REAL biker jacket for about half that price or less. | |

I don't go much for those "name brand" fads. To me it's silly to overpay for ugly clothing just so some flaky designer can pocket it and live in a mansion. If I like the style, I'll buy it if it's reasonable. Otherwise, I'd rather spend my money on something that benefits me.

| i'm with you DK......having someone's "name" on it doesn't make it look any better. (or worse!) i buy what i like, in my own quirky style, and don't spend too much money either. it's JUST clothes...... | |

| He apparently had lunch with a male friend on this day as well. Stop the presses. http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/10/27/2009-10-27_new_york_yankees_game_pulls_mayor_mike_bloomberg_away_from_brighton_beach_memoir.html Gerard Butler lunching at Delicatessen in Nolita with a male pal on Monday, before speeding off on his bike. | |
